Alright, here we are. I've been meaning to do this for a long time, so now I'm finally getting around to it. Basically, I'm just going to list my 10 favorite songs in video games. Keep in mind that these are in no particular order, they are just my 10 favorites. However, the last 3 are in order of my top favorite VGM. Here we go!10. Final Fantasy III - Eternal Wind This song is very nice sounding, and gives you a pleasant feeling inside.
9. Final Fantasy VII - One-Winged Angel (Theatrhythm Version) Yeah, you were probably expecting this sooner or later. It's one of the most epic boss themes I've ever heard. In my opinion, it perfectly suits Sephiroth, what with him being an evil dude who's attempting to become a god.
8. F-Zero - White Land (SSBB Version) It's pretty good. Yeah. Nothing to say about it.
7. Kirby Super Star Ultra - Masked Dedede Theme This song is the absolute best Kirby song in the whole series, spin-offs included. The original King Dedede theme is pretty awesome, but an epic'd up version... Dang, Hal made a really good remix here.
6. Banjo-Kazooie - Rusty Bucket Bay Rare always produced some of Nintendo's music... back when they were still with Nintendo. I don't know why, but this song always makes me feel like a bad person. It could be because the water is severely polluted in the level. It could be because the boat caught an adorable little dolphin. I'll never know for sure.
5. Banjo Kazooie - Freezeezy Peak This song is THE SINGLE MOST jolly video game song anyone will ever hear. If you've just gotten fired at Christmas time, this song will cheer you up. If you just got divorced at Christmas time, this song will cheer you up. If your favorite uncle just died at Christmas song, this song will cheer you up (hopefully). If I could pick one place in any of Rare's games to live in, Freezeezy Peak would be the place (as long as those darn snowmen stay away from me).
4. Kingdom Hearts II - Tension Rising This. Song. Is. Freaking. Awesome. That organ and piano... they're so awesome...
3. Final Fantasy II - Main Theme This song is one of my favorites from this list. It might just be me, but the start of the song just sounds really sorrow. Of course, sorrow tunes in video games always sound really good to me.
2. Kingdom Hearts - Dearly Beloved (KHII Version) This song is just so beautiful... Every time I hear it, I want to cry. I'm not even kidding. If the word 'beautiful' were assigned any song, this would be it.
1. Metroid - Kraid's Lair (Zero Mission Version) Yep. My all-time favorite VGM (yeah, the last 3 are my favorite VGM, in case you didn't read the opening). This song is really, really awesome. It's creepy, it's epic, it's totally a theme of a boss's domain, and it sounds AWESOME. Alright, here we are. I've been meaning to do this for a long time, so now I'm finally getting around to it.
