So... as of right now, this is a double elimination tournament. The bottom half will be moved down the next category. There is the Safe Zone, the Danger Zone, and the Dead Zone. If you are in the bottom half of the Danger Zone, and you are in the bottom half, you move to the Dead Zone and are out of the tournament. If there are any questions about this, ask in the discussion thread.

Rules:

1: Pac Boost IS ALLOWED, but is not a requirement
2: High Score Mode is optional, as long as you follow the round's rules 
3: Arcade Mode Only 
4: Difficulty is Normal, and Normal Only.  
5: Submit your score here, or else it will not count. Make sure you use post a picture of your screen shot of some sort here in this thread, or it will not count. If you give me a link, it will be ignored.
6: This is an individual tournament (Net Play will never be required). You can, however, play in Net Play if you wish, just make sure you follow the rules, and that one of the users posts the pictures, and summons the other user so they can confirm they played with the first user. 
7: Round will end on Friday at Midnight, turning into Saturday, server time. 
8: Refer to beginning of post for how eliminations will work. 
9: You may update your score as much as you want to. Only your highest score will count.

How do we get out of the danger zone? 
What does pac boost do?

earthwarrior : you can't get out of danger zone. It is basically an easier way of describing that you only have 1 elimination left in the tournament.

I have no idea what a pac boost does or a definite knowledge on how this tournament layout works out.. 

But i'm glad you're eliminating more than one person at a time.

I still don't agree with being able to use the regular emulator to screen shot. Just leaves it open to cheating. Not that I think anyone here would cheat, I'm just saying it's way to easy to do so.

thing1 : I messed up on those two summons because I just copied and pasted what you had without checking if they were spelled right :x

And it's coming back to me... I recall that their speed goes in cycles. I remember as a kid trying to fight hard to stay alive for about 5 hard rounds in a row and then you get to like stage 13 or something and they suddenly get slow again to give you a breath of fresh air and then you hafta panic again for another 5 or so rounds.

earthwarrior : Pac Boost makes you move faster. It can be set to always on or toggled with A/B. I use the latter because I don't like being permanently boosted. I don't even use the pac boost most of the time, but it can sometimes be handy in a pinch for brief spurts. I maybe activated it 2 times in that run I just posted. One was to hurry up and gobble a ghost before the super pellet ran out and the other was to beat a ghost to the last dot so I could finish the stage without getting killed.

good at least we cant get cheated this time.

Jordanv78 : The main reason is because I want screen shots in this thread. If people do high score mode, and say the score the got in round 4 was more than their round 5 score, it would not show up in high score. I do not care what mode you use... as long as I get a screen shot in this thread of your score showing the options you used to play.

thing1 : does the scores of the Danger Zoned people affect the Safe Zoned people scores? Like if the Danger Zone people beat the people on Safe Zone, some of the people on Safe Zone goes to Danger Zone?

thing1 : Did I just pretty much only get closed to being eliminated? And is this one still like lowest score out thing?

 Accidentally forgot to use Highscore mode. . .

thing1 : I don't think you actually understand how high score mode works... because your post about scores in round 4 versus scores in round 5 doesn't make any sense. How can a "round 4" score be higher than a "round 5" score? All high score mode does is disable save states.

Crazy Li : If people choose to submit their scores that way, it would not work. That is why I said I need a screen shot in this thread.
pokemon x : read by each section how many people will be moved. If you still do not understand it, then keep reading. 
Seishiro Leonhart : It is kind of like brackets. Safe Zone is it's own, and Danger Zone is it's own. The bottom 4 at the end of this round will be moved to Danger Zone. The top 4 stay put. The bottom 3 in Danger Zone (because we had one person drop out last second, and could not fill the gap... that is why it is 3), will be put in Dead Zone, and be eliminated. The top 4 will stay in Danger Zone, and live to fight another day. 

Does that clear things up for you guys?
