9tailedvin : Spam much? Since for some reason You-tube videos wont appear anymore I'll have to stick with links. ryuzaki223 : Death note is one of my favorite animes and so is its opening. EvilAlu : Definitely, they made it one of many great openings, the only problem I have with Full Metal Alchemist is I preferred the manga that was made by Enix. sonicbros : Never heard of that anime. ( Azumanga Daioh. ) I have however watched and enjoyed Soul Eater. I always liked how it wizzed past Blair in her cat form. drippy125 : marcus047 : Bleach has certainly made some great openings I will agree. I actually enjoyed the first the most. YourMajestyKen : I myself wasn't so keen on the English opening. I do not have an opinion of the Japanese Opening song since I never heard it. iN008 : I like the Beyblade theme song. I have no idea why though, I'm not even a fan of the series. Heck, posting a video is impossible on this hunk-a-junk computer. LOL |

YourMajestyKen : Honestly it just wasn't my style of music, although it was upbeat and catching I never actually liked the vocals which was the major part for many openings for me. |

"Altamira" from the Tales of Symphonia anime is my favorite song. The lady who sang it died, and as far as I know, it's not an actual language, because no translation for the song exists and people don't believe that she ever did provide a translated version or a transcr |

There are a few that I like, like the pokemon opening theme song, that one just stays with me all the time. I also like the one for sonicX if anyone watches or has seen it before- Gotta go fast gotta go faster faster faster sonic x! But for the current anime I am watching, I like the one from Dragon ball z kai, it is a good series. Ilike a good ope ing song in anime, one that is catchy and sounds good. The unfortunate thing about sonic x is that it comes on at 8:00 on a saturday! I just try to record it whenever I can, because that is too early to wake up on a saturday. These are my thoughts and opinions on the anime I like the opening song to. |

pray75 : I'll admit it's an okay anime opening, although it isn't personally a favorite of mine. A great anime opening song has to be from 07-Ghost which is called Aku No Kakura ( Or something similar... ) I also enjoyed the 11-eyes opening which unfortunately I do not recall the name for. Now, I find this one really weird and creepy, I never watched the anime though. Maybe it was because of this.

To be honest, I can't entirely come up with any that truly were amazing (besides Pokemon (first generation))... Other than that, I haven't the slightest clue... I don't really watch that many anime shows, and the ones I do are rated MATURE... so it's best I don't list them. Wouldn't want to help corrupt the minds of the young (or would I... hmm). Fullmetal Alchemist Ready Steady Go for nostalgic purposes. Every time I hear it... I wanna break down into tears, of how I love this anime so damn much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSky6F1JwUs
Rurouni Kenshin Freckles. Same damn reason. This was the first anime I ever saw, and the opening has stayed with me all of my life. It just reminds me of how much this anime means to me. Again, I want to break down into tears when I hear it. It reminds of all the times I spent watching Rurouni Kenshin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZMmIRzIzo4 The Cowboy Bebop Opening. Funny story, I had once heard the song playing in a store. I freaked out. Thought it was freaking awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6zDfxZ4NcE Any of the Openings from Lupin the 3rd totally kick-ass. I can't pick one. It's definitely one of the oldies, but I absolutely love it. Next is Samurai Champloos Opening. Now, I'm an ENOURMOUS fan of Nujabes, and he did the quite a bit of the music for Samurai Champloo. This just happens to be one of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OuRajFzMYI This one is the first Opening of Code Geass. Fantastic song, to a Master-piece of anime. If you haven't seen the anime, WATCH IT. NOW. Woops, sorry bout' that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXxPf5mGK9Y This one is Death Note's first opening. Awesome song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkXw1iBgzoY Well, that's enough for me. I've suddenly just gotten in a huge anime mood.... Rurouni Kenshin Freckles. Same damn reason. I think it is about time I do another reply wave xD. Let's see what I can say about the anime opening posted above. LenKagamineLover : I would agree the Full Metal Alchemist opening was well done and very enjoyable to listen to whilst I watched some of the episodes I never skipped it once I found it so enjoyable. As for Mawaru Chikyuu Rondo from Hetalia I had never heard it before partially because I still have that anime on my watch list. I would say though after listening to it, I found it quite catchy compared to some other anime that I have previously watched. Eniitan : Finally someone with a shared love of a certain anime's openings. I myself loved the Inazuma Eleven openings, of-course I myself don't watch to many anime which have any relevance to sports however this anime was one that I did watch. The openings keep a thrilling exciting theme especially the third one. This felt really well done as the opening theme was coupled with awesome opening animations. Loved it so much. Inuyasha is definitely one of the animes you need to be committed to watch due to the length of 100+ episodes and with that many episodes there are many openings. My favorite is the second. I liked it because of the music really. It felt better than the first for me and the animations felt relaxed and calm but picked up half way through to show more intense fighting and such. I felt it worked really well. This was followed up by the third opening in which... I didn't really like to much, I felt it was too dark for the anime, even if it was upbeat the animated scenes were dark and depressing :L However I think the anime was given a bit more justice with the fourth opening which was much brighter and overall more enjoyable. Especially loved when the characters appeared one after another fluently which is really a hit or miss in the anime world, Inuyasha did it right thankfully. I never took much interest in the openings that came after as they weren't as interesting. Although the last opening was really good I will say that anyway. Kaleido Star Opening 1 is upbeat and feels very pop-culture like. I mean it feels as if it would be something that would fit in well on a J-Pop chart. As for Kaleido Star Opening 2, I felt as it lost some of the good music but however made up for it with some nice visuals with a bit of trippy-ness not to be ignored. It definitely made me want to check the anime out thanks to the opening scene, not so much the music. Next was the 3rd opening from the second season, I felt it brought back the J-Pop feeling of the first opening although sounded a lot like a piece of music which I cannot remember it was in English that is all I remember anyway. It with the same visuals made the opening better than the second one. But what I didn't really like is that you missed out the Ova opening, this was by far my favorite of the four. The music felt much more relaxed and the visuals complemented this. Of-course I can't blame you, Ova's tend to go somewhat unnoticed for the most part. GamingMonkey : YES YES YES! The Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni series definitely are by far my favorite set of openings, they balance everything so well. Starting off with the amazing music supported by amazing visuals made want to watch the opening every-time I watched an episode. I especially liked Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Rei, that opening made me so sad but I wanted to see it through to the end. SacraRain : I'm going to edit my first post to allow 18+ animes but you can't link the video and must add that it is a 18+ after all it is a family site. I mean one I had to stop myself mentioning was the Gantz opening since that had some really twisted themes and was a 18+ MinkNyu : The second opening in the Full Metal Alchemist Series was much different from the first Melissa. But was still quite good however I still preferred the first opening. As for Rurouni Kenshin, it started of dark and wham straight into a jolly tune not what I was expecting, definitly will check that anime out in the distant future, because my to watch list is already about 400 anime long xD. Apparently Cowboy Bebop has a cult like following here on vizzed because it has been mention enough. I found the opening more interesting as it completely differed from the standard openings you would usually see. It itself is one of my favorite openings and I doubt it would be knocked off any time soon, I mean if you go for the music aspect of it then it seems to always remind me of the more quirkier openings from such anime like for example, Outlaw Star. Of-course Cowboy Bebop was and still is one of the original quirky openings. You also mentioned Lupin the Third which happens to also fit into the more quirky openings and it definitely is one of the oldies. I mean certain people loved it so much that they incorporated references to the opening in the solid snake cartoon thing. Samurai Champloos isn't something I had ever heard of. I thought it was very interesting for it to incorporate rapping in an opening it feels weird but somehow it works well. I just can't explain it. It's unique to say the least. Code Geass's opening felt exciting and had great visuals along side it. You got to see some of the interesting parts of the anime through the opening. It also had a change in the middle which was similar to how Umineko No Naku Koro Ni did it. But the cream on the cake? Death Note is an opening that demands to be loved. Not only does it look epic but it has some great music accompany making it a great opening indeed. REDiceBIRD : Claymore was a good anime it wasn't the music of the opening it was the visuals for me they added something which many openings fail to achieve and did it well. Rarely does the animation get better than the musical theme in an opening but Claymore managed it. It was an altogether good opening. Greece : An anime I had never heard of. The opening was quite interesting, from what I could tell it is a slice of life / romantic anime. Quite interesting use of colors and characters quite a good opening. So after all this is my thread so I guess I may aswell add another anime opening. This time I bring the Outlaw Star opening into the spot light. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0N3L-pcGdc This opening was mentioned above in this post but I though I would talk about it more. The opening uses a interesting choice of song and visuals with peaceful to action scenes moving from one to the other fluently the name of the piece is Through the Night which is quite well done considering the majority of the animation shown is during the night. Ignoring fitting naming lets talk about the animation itself. It did well to keep any major plot twist hidden which I find is a good thing as when I got to any major bit of plot when watching it didn't spoil it. So what is your favorite opening? I'd have to say the best anime intro is Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood it's intro is better than the original Fullmetal Alchemist because it is the newer Fullmetal Alchemist. |

Hmm... though choice. If you ask me my favorite theme, I'd probably say (Haters gonna hate) Zero No Tsukaima 2 - Futatsu No Kishi Opening - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xGjkfg16ac But as for which is the best one for me, I would say probably Dantalian no Shoka, Both music and animation are incredible in my opinion. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2FGCFKFz3A But as for which is the best one for me, I would say probably Dantalian no Shoka, Both music and animation are incredible in my opinion. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2FGCFKFz3A |

While the majority of Japanese Anime is pretty good, I find this French Anime to be my favorite. It may not be the best to you but its the best to me. French Anime I am referring to is Code Lyoko. Opening is relatively short, to the point and has one heck of a theme song. French Version is superior in every way.
Code Lyoko Opening French: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYL_R340B4w English opening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKNDZLZbEZE Show has a 5th season airing right now in France but they've changed things significantly. So much so that a fan went out of their way to make this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAbQnY1Mf4E Oh and if anyone cares, the show's FULL theme song in AMV format: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N6-SKyqTTU Code Lyoko Opening French: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYL_R340B4w English opening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKNDZLZbEZE Show has a 5th season airing right now in France but they've changed things significantly.
