Since this is pretty much a Frequently Asked Question, and there isn't a thread for it yet explaining, I have decided that I'll make the thread for it!~ (If the mods feel that this is unnecessary for some reason, or that it's in the wrong area, do what you feel should be done with it).

This will only work for Windows 7 and Vista. There isn't a solution for XP as of yet, and I don't know about Windows 8, simply cause I've never used it before, so if somebody could add on to this to help, it'd be appreciated, Nya~.

Step 1) In the bottom right hand corner of your desktop, you'll notice the Volume icon

You want to click that icon, which will direct you to...

Step 2) This. When you get here, you want to click "Mixer", which you can see circled in the image.


Step 3) When you have clicked "Mixer", it'll redirect you to this box:


As you can see, there is an option there titled the name of your game, but being I don't have the flash drive for the RGR connected at the moment, we'll be using the normal browser as the example. Depending on your browser, when you have the RGR installed, the name may change, along with the icon obviously, but it'll be there still, even for Internet Explorer!

Step 4) When you're there, you will want to drag the bar for the volume all the way to the bottom, like this:


Once that's down, all you have to do is exit the box, or keep it open if you want to turn the volume up again, and it'll have the game muted!~

slimeface1212 :  What do you mean, it was going out of control?  Did it not look like the shots Mega provided?  Did you follow Mega's steps exactly as Mega posted them?  You can pm me if you're not sure.

Singelli : I meant "out of control" by constantly changing its name and slowly raising its volume

slimeface1212 :  I've never seen that happen...  LOL Do you think you could get a screen shot and send it to me, if you know how?  Also, there are other reasons you should pm me, and you know it.  

Here's another way to mute your game... TURN THE FRICKING SOUND DOWN.  lol

Or turn off the speaker.

I don't know all I know is it is certain games that you can mute like dragon ball z buus fury and dragon ball z legacy of goku 2.

Thanks. This will be useful for when I am using a walkthrough and the sound between the two are uneven i can just mute the game.

Thanks that worked for me but why would you want to mute only the game and, if you wanted to mute the game why don't you just turn down the volume, instead of going in to the mixer and doing stuff there?  Please PM me your feedback. Thanks

Thanks for the information, I didn't think to look at the volume mixer, I thought it would of been somewhere on the page.

I can't believe I just now found this. It's definitely amazing, because I was hoping to listen to some music or the Bible while I was playing some of the games.

Huh. SO apparently, you have to go to the actual thing where you can pick each area. I will try that the next time I am playing a game. Thanks for finding this out.

This seemed like that everyone knows! I barely use the mixer, but thanks for reminding me!
