I think the game I have spent the longest hours on would have to be WOW (World of Warcraft).  I stopped playing it but when I did I would play for hours and hours on.  Now I know I always talk about final fantasy but I would have to say no final fantasy has more hours the warcraft.  Even though I started playing on lich king I still felt like I have been playing since the beginning.  Now I know this isn't a old game which I normally talk about how old games are better but warcraft beats everything I've ever played.  Now that I have told you mine what's yours?  It can be and really old ancient game, a old game, a recent game, or a game that came out a few months ago.  Just tell me which game you probably have the most hours on.

Super Mario World. I must have spent over four hundred hours total in my five or so years of having it. I've beaten the game about seven times, three 100% runs, and plenty of times trying to lose the 999 lives my little brother got me. Good times.

jayron122 : Sure, I'll tell you mine! Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. I've spent at least 500 hours on that game. Next with a close second is Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Probably 400-450 hours on that. And, super close third, Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Maybe 400 hours on this. I know, too much time. I've had both GBA games for like 3-4 years though, and SD for like 2-3. BTW, I like Fire Emblem.

That's a hard one for me to answer.
Super Mario Brothers would probably be the first time I logged over 1000 hours of playing through the years. Might be why you will only find a lone hack version on my game Profile.

Final Fantasy 7? I had to play that thing 3 times before I Finally saw that last "Omnislash".
The First time I put 76 hours into it my friend asked for it back. I spent a year without it waiting for the price to drop. I erased the file and moved on till another friend parted with his copy to me for 20 dollars. When I got to disk 3 the Game would not work. his Copy was flawed and some how corrupted my file. I had to delete the file again after 60-70 hours again.
Finally The Third time I got it it was a "Classics" re-release. My final game time was 65 hours I think. Add all of those times together and you have a miserable experience that I may never go through again.
Particularly after F.F.8 and it's junction system. And the fact that you could get your whole cast to Level 99 each and never dominate a single section of inferior beasts due to the random Monster level Idea they added without telling anyone. Plus the stupid Card Game to get Summons that are needed. The Underwater Sea Lab Boss.
I will never buy another Final Fantasy Again After that. There"s Good Long And Bad Long. F.F.8 Was Obviously "Bad Long."
The Final Boss In F.F.4 (The giant Cloud Looking Thing.). I never beat it. Got all the way to the moon. (Twice.) What was I supposed to do? I Fought that thing for an entire hour once and nothing happened. No damage to him or me. The number values showed. But nothing. It was weird.
Those kind of things will Turn Off Any R.P.G. Fan in a heart beat. I don't care how good the story is. The Ratio Of Lost time that was not rewarded Was too much.

The Current games I have spent the most time on due to love of the game?
Likely the Street Fighter games, Soul Calibur games, D.O.A., Devil May Cry 3, Metal Gear The VR Missions. Golden Eye Both Normal And Rouge Agent. Doom, Mega Man X 1, Ninja Gaiden 1, Mega Man 2 Sticks out, Strider 1......

Probably Street Fighter 2.
For Ten Years and about 6 to 7 versions... Street Fighter 2 Sounds about Right.

I have over 100+ hours on Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod. I played Fable The Lost Chapters, Super Mario World, Perfect World International and a lot of other games for 100s of hours as well,the exact time I don't really have recorded.

In all my life I've probably played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time more than any other game. I've definitely played 100+ hours worth. I also have 130+ hours on Pokémon Pearl, which I've sadly misplaced.

It's really hard for me to say which game that I have the "most hours in" because I have been playing some games for decades (mario, metroid, zelda etc) and have kept coming back to play them all the time. Since there is no way to actually track how many hours I have spent playing some of these games over the past 20 years or so...I would have to say that the game that I KNOW I have spent the most hours according to my character logs is WoW. I spent so many hours in that game I would be embarrassed to put it in this thread.

So let's just say...A LOT ;-)

I feel pretty crappy compared to you guys. I probably logged the most hours on Pokemon black or super smash bros. brawl and melee. I am not really sure about melee but all i know is that i spent like over 100 hours on it. Pokemon black i obv spent over 100 hours on one file since i caught every unova Pokemon on it for no reason at all.
And super smash brothers. When i first got it i played the game for 17 hours straight without stopping besides bathroom. Also, i did that on Christmas which is when i got the game

I'd have to guess Europa Universalis. I've clocked quite a few hours on that game playing multiplayer with my brother.

I have logged over a hundred hours on one game of Final Fantasy-7 or 8, I believe.

But overall, actually think the most hours on a video game I've spent would probably be Darkcloud 2. Besides beating the game, there's all these weapons to build up, towns to build, destroy and rearrange because you want to, fish to catch, fish to feed and mate and race, medals to win, spheda to play...I know the game I'm on currently is almost a hundred hours and I'm not even halfway through the final chapter yet, and I need to seriously work on my fish to win the top level racing competition...plus I'm not happy with the way a few of the towns look, so I'll probably take them apart and rebuild them.

I haven't really checked... but I'm gonna assume it was one of the Disgaea games... I probably have some 80+ hours logged into the first one because those games really become a grind-fest with hours needed to be sent in Item World then reincarnating and leveling back up... though later NIS games had extra post-game stuff where you need to grind all your characters up to insanely high levels to take on the post-game cameo characters @.@

Donkey Kong Country 3 hands down trying to get every little thing in it took forever.

This is a pretty hard one to answer, honestly. It kinda depends for me. I think that it may be Pokemon FireRed, considering I spent years trying to get all the Kanto region pokemon in them, but I lost it a while after having succeeded in doing so. Emerald is probably second, since I spent about an equal range of time compared to FireRed. Other than those, it'd be hard to say, Nya~.
