Yeah, it's been confusing me, and I havn't been able to find out an explanation.

The last time I saw mine was 44/44
I know that the number after the slash is your total posts, but what is the number on the left?
Mine always seems like the left number is always the same as the right number, but not all people have it like that...So, I would like some help on that, please.

the number on the left is shows what post of yours it is, in this case your post above me is post 45 of 45 posts.
when you post again it will show 45/46 being its post 45 out of 46 posts.

look at my first post in this thread.
it should say 1273/1274 while this post should say 1274/1274.
the first post was my 1273rd post out of a total of 1274.
the first number signifies the order that post comes in when compared to all your posts.
my 1st post on Vizzed would say 1/1274 because its post number one out of the 1274 posts i have made.
