Similar to the Favorite NES Game thread nearby, what is your favorite SNES game? There are multiple options, but I implore you to think of the one that just felt the best to you(if you can't decide on one, just list the ones that you feel reign supreme). Me, I felt that Super Mario World was the best SNES had to offer(there were other great ones but I like this one the most) because of the multiple paths that can be taken, the difficulty especially in the later levels, and fantastic visuals, which is why it stands not only as my favorite SNES game, but my favorite game of all time.

Now that I've given what I feel is the best, what do you guys think?

Ah! Waiting for this thread my first console! My automatic answer is SMBW but that was my first game. But after some thought I am most certain the first game that got me into hardcore gaming is Link To The Past. Which also formed the type of gamer I am today.

carlton28: This thread is for SNES games. If you are referring to the game Super Mario All-Stars, a compilation with remakes of the four
Mario games for the NES, I'll accept that. If not, I think you are looking for this thread https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=42636

I like Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Stadium 2 the best because they are the only games I've ever played on the SNES.

I think that Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World is the best because it is 5 games in one and it's really fun to play. It is also known to be very rare. At least I can play it on Vizzed!

A link to the past. Which as ive said before is not only my favorite SNES game, but arguably one of the best Zelda games ever. I say arguably one of the best because, hey its the Internet and I doubt I could ever get a large group of people to say it was the best or even one of the best.

My favorite Super Nintendo game has to be Super Mario All-Stars. I used to always play this game whenever I went to my grandparent's house. It was amazing for me to see 4 games in one cartridge. It was mind blowing! Not only that, but it was all of the gems of Mario within the Nintendo era.

Probably Super Mario World, F-Zero and Star Fox, because I played them a lot, but I am not very good at them, except for Super Mario World. Also, F-Zero and Star Fox were very advanced games for their era.

I Want to say "Mega Man X", or " A link to the Past", or "Star Fox", but honestly, it going to be "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." ("Turtles in Time"). Any Game that gets the friends over the house is a good game. "Super Street Fighter 2", "Mario Cart", "Final Fight"(I think. Haven't played it yet.), Even the watered down version of "Mortal Kombat" was good. Games bringing together Real people is always a good thing in my book. So I have to go with the "Turtles" on this one. (Real shame about the zappers failing on the snes years. Id love to shoot at the T.V. the same way Elvis did. Now It's all a thing of the past.)
Mega Man and Link and Flight Simulators were already hits and always will be. But The Turtles needed a "co-op" device that was updated from the "8 bit" generation of game consoles. Why This Was Needed? I have no Idea. (River City Ransom, Double Dragon, Contra, Gauntlet, and others were huge hits.)
...
Good Luck To All.
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.

Hmm, I think Mega Man X has to be my favorite Super Nintendo game. I haven't had as much fun with any other SNES game. Games like Super Mario All-Stars, Contra III and Yoshi's Island are also pretty swell, but to me Mergermern Ecks is the best SNES game! ;D

I have many favorite SNES games, so I'll just list two of them.

I always loved Super Mario RPG for the mix of platforming and wandering around in different areas. (I really liked the part where you fall down a waterfall! It's intense in a way.) The battle system's button layout is pretty simple, but effective. I really enjoy the pre-rendered 3d graphics as well, but that's more of a personal preference.

Another one is Final Fantasy 3/6. It really speaks for itself. The story is really long, but really good at the same time. Classic FF style battles, likable characters and a likable villain, and it's just a fun experience.
