Warning! This game is rated M for Mature. This game is not meant for people below the age of 18! (I'm writing this review because I saw it suggested on Toonami and after watching various gameplays, I thought it would be cool to write a review about it. Also, this is not plagiarized material, so it will be a waste of time searching for where this could be copied from.)

This is definitely one of the most interesting games I have ever seen. This game features two types of gameplay and has many unique characteristics.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics for this game weren't bad, but they definitely had a few flaws. For one, during the nightmare stages, one of the two types of gameplay, during certain stages, some stages require the main character to use the 360° aspect of the game, however the camera angle doesn't allow the player to fully rotate 360°. Second, in all honesty, the graphics aren't the best. Many aspects of the gameplay aside from the cutscenes could have many improvements in terms of graphics. I don't have much else to say about graphics so let's move on.

Sound: 7/10

The soundtrack in this game is....unique, like most of the things about this game. This music, unlike most other games, isn't original...well at least the music for the nightmare stages. All of the music for the nightmare stages derive from famous...ish themes from the past such as L'Arlésienne Second Suite Farandole (Final Stage: Empireo) and Chopin Revolutionary Etude (Final Boss Theme). The other themes including the daytime music are, as far as I know, are original. I do like the music personally but there's been better VGM. Moving along.

Addictiveness: 5/10

If you're a hardcore gamer than chances are that you may want to play over and over to try and get the gold prizes and have a chance at the babel stages. But to me, this game doesn't look that addicting. Not much more to say here so I'm moving on.

Story: 9/10

The story isn't that bad. To put this simply, a man named Vincent is trying to live his life and is conflicted between his girlfriend Katherine and a hot girl he met at the club one night and had an affair with...named Catherine (convenient huh?). The thing I find cool about the story is that there is 8 possible endings that can be achieved, and getting each ending depends on what answers Vincent gives to the mysterious voice (not revealing any spoilers) during the nightmare stages. That's all I have to say about the story.

Depth: 10/10

This game has ALOT of depth. For one thing, there are 8 possible endings that can be achieved and the game MUST be played a certain way to get certain endings. There's also an unlockable game feature known as babel in which the player takes on challenging block puzzles to climb to the top. There's also a type of gameplay similar to the nighttime stages that is playable during the day.

Gameplay: 6/10

The gameplay I rated high because of its uniqueness. During the day, Vincent lives his live over a period of 9 days and makes some life-changing decisions based on his responses during the night stages. Vincent can move around and interact during the day, as well as send and recieve messages from either Catherine or Katherine. During the night, Vincent has nightmares where he has to climb a series of block puzzles to reach the landings, where he is safe from falling. The point is to keep climbing to avoid falling to your death. When he reaches the landing, he can interact with fellow "sheep", or fellow sinners, and he enters a confessional at each landing where he answers a question which determines his thought pattern when he is awake during the day.

Difficulty: 6/10

Since I never actually played the game, I can't rate the game based on difficulty for myself. But depending on the mode, it can be very easy or a nightmare, so I'll give it a 6.

Overall: 7.3/10

Overall I give this game a 7.3 out of ten. This game is unique in quite a variety of ways and has quite an assortment of challenges. I do recommend this game to play but don't play it if you are a kid because this game does contain some cutscenes not suitable for children and strong language. And that ends my review. Have a good day and I hope you enjoyed my review.

Edit: It's probably hard to read so I'm removing my layout.
