It's been awhile since I shared art so VIVA LA ART DUMP.

Okay not really, just something I drew in 2011 that I only JUST NOW uploaded.

The assignment was we had to draw self portraits from a mirror (gag) but we had to divide the page in half, drawing one side as a regular human picture and the other side as something creative or abstract. Instead of doing what everyone else was doing, with the obvious line down the middle of a straight shot self portrait, I decided to make my piece a transition from normal to tiger (Which was the jacket I was wearing) as if I was some mutant experiment. I could get away with pretty much anything since most of the people in that class couldn't actually draw, so screw the rules I did what I wanted.

AND ALSO I FAIL AT DRAWING PORTRAITS EWWWWWWWWWW
Seriously, why am I so incapable of drawing people to actually look like the right people why WHY   TT_TT

Drawn with Pencil using a make up mirror that sucked but I used what I had.
That's also like...my favorite jacket to draw. This is the second or third time I've attempted (and failed) to draw a self portrait of myself wearing that jacket. At least IT looks good.

Wow, that's awesome... the "tiger" side of the face looks a bit stretched or something... but other than that, it's really good.

And calm down, your art ain't THAT bad.

Its a wicked portrait, its HUGE too.

There is actually a lot to mention here,
like how clear and detailed the picture is,
with depth and tone, it isn't easy to get it like
that using just a pencil!

Dat jacket... Love the kitty ears on it too.
Alright, I know this is meant to be surreal,
but what ARE those things in the background?

Is that a imp and a dragon? If so, best self-portrait ever.

I mean who can say THEY have a self-portrait with that? No-one!

Crazy Li : Most likely it looks stretched because this isn't a direct face shot. I was looking at myself from an angle so you could see more of one side of my face than the other.

On3On : Huh. How could you tell it was big? I drew this on my 18X24
I find it easier to detail on bigger paper and pencil is one of my best mediums.

Those things in the bg are whatever you want them to be. I made them up as I drew them to go with the whole 'mutant' theme.

Hawaiianbabidoll : Combination of things. It looks great, really fine detail.
The size of the pencil marks and shading. /Detective.
It wasn't that hard to guess it was big. :V

Still that is some real effort.
Top to bottom, its all well done.

Oh and yeah, I realize now that those things in the background are mutants. >.<
I didn't have a suitable name for whatever they are at the time.
