Is it possible to make working back-up copies of PS2 games? I have a couple that are really getting messed up, and I want to back them up before they become unusable. I was just wondering if I could make a back-up copy of them on a DVD.

i've said it before i'll say it again.
alcohol 120%: http://www.alcohol-soft.com/
but it costs money so you may want a free version software, but it may not work as well.
you need to also make sure your ps2 is modded cause you cant play burnt games otherwise.
well that or another method like i think one of the action replays lets you as well.
