Sonic 2 - XL
A.K.A - Sonic 2 Obese edition.

Yes, this is my review on this brilliant remake of Sonic the hedgehog 2.
The shining golden rings are replaced with something I love in sauce... onion rings.
"Why does this matter?" You say. "It's just a simple graphic change!" You say... but try grab at least 5 of those rings.

"Nothing."

"I think something changed."

"Is Sonic getting fatter?"

"Yes, definitely."

"Man, Sonic is slow."

"Whoa... I can't move!"

When Sonic gets too many onion rings, he will become so obese he wont be able too move... then die of a heart attack.

Graphics for this game... 9!

Sonic's sprites sway beautifully. Even the rings and Sonic have changed.
The reason this is a 9, is since Super Sonic has glitchy sprites.
I haven't got many decent comments for this section, so on I go.

The sound... 8!

Rather big? Well, the rings sound effect has been changed. It flows greatly.
The reason I put it big is since it didn't go CRAZY CUSTOM!

Addictiveness... 9!

I just can't take my paws away from this... I'm playing it during my review too.
Sonic 2 was good enough, but this... geez.

Depth... is a big 7.

Sure, the game can be beaten in about 20 minutes... but there a more things to do.
Extra level paths, chaos emeralds, setting your own challenges...

Difficulty... Is actually 7!?

This game is so darn hard. If you don't disable him, Tails will go get rings, and YOU get fatter.
Also, once you get obese, you should have to exercise to get past certain parts in the game.





 

I have to say that this game is a funny concept, but also seems tedious.

This hack is pretty funny... I didn't played it yet. However, I bet that after a few stages it becomes boring and annoying, because of the exercise "sessions" to pass certain areas.

Someone actually made a hack of Sonic fat?

My god Sonic's fat jokes have gone to a whole new level.

awkard freaking hack.  who ever made this must had really hate. sonic. it figures those chilly dogs sonic has been eating came back to haunt him lol. but seriously  the person who made this hack must had really hate sonic or something.

Lol I laughed my head off at this. I had no idea this was here. I'm no Sonic fan, but I'll have to try this. Nice work here, by the way.

SuperCrash64 : Actually, the guy who made the hack likes Sonic. Just, like Hackerman mentioned, there are Sonic's fat jokes... so someone decided to create a hack about it, and looked what they farted. (I didn't get any sleep. Being random.) It's a fun hack for me, but I don't know about you.
