Sonic 2 great game, great game, some people disagree I beg to differ it's pretty sweet, although it's a cliché that did the whole "friend get's captured gimmick" I mean it's got good game play. Yeah it doesn't keep you to interested it does for a while, you think it's all happy in the end as usual well not exactly. If you do not get all the chaos emeralds up to Silver Sonic the game will end with him. When defeated Sonic will run alone and after the credits he looks in the sky and see's stars forming Tails, which means he is dead (so cruel to the little fox). So you want to play the game ALL over again to defeat Robotnik and save your buddy. With the Chaos emeralds Sonic and Tails discover the are best friends forever. The End. To spoily? Well that's what I think. Good game. Sad and Happy endings. Bad story. Alright see ya all.

Sonic 2 was always a great game in general, I mean, I believe it was the beginning of Sonic's rise to star power. Yeah, the first was really popular, but the Sequel was amazing. Loved it.
The Master system however, SUCKED. The game was tarnished because of it, really. I don't like this version.
