Glitches come naturally in games. some are god and some are bad. The most famous one I know of is the item duplication glitch and the Missing No glitch from Pokemon red/blue. Now the question from me is what glitch gave you an advantage or just screwed you. Also lag don't count for me. Edit: Also you cant use superman 64 as a reference cause we all know that game was s***! Edit: Also you cant use superman 64 as a reference cause we all know that game was s***! |

bigmariofan : Are you just talking about pokemon, or other games, also?
For pokemon (I never use glitches), it would be that the walk through walls would give me a huge advantage in doing game sequence breaking, but the missingno glitch can literally erase your save file, infinte pokemon cry when catching, crashing, locking, or freezing the game, so that can screw the file data when you manage to catch one, because it is a "Infamous glitch pokemon" and it was a old glitch that involves doing random things with gameshark codes, precisely do every step of the glitch correctly, or go to glitch city (By cheating or glitching with the walk through walls code). Summon me if you are talking about just pokemon, or talking about all games, ok? I'll need an answer. I enjoy glitches and I don't enjoy glitches. I would have to say that there are really awesome glitches and there are some that are extremely annoying. I wish that all glitches would be helpful and not a disadvantage. I can't wait to search for another glitch. I always look into glitches and see exactly where they occur and what they occur. I mostly discover glitches on online computer games. They're unusual glitches. I discover glitches in Super Mario World. There are a few in one of the cave courses. I enjoy Super Mario World and its highly extensive content. Well, good luck into the future with glitches and I wish you the best when playing video games. |

The worst glitch I have ever had was in Sonic Generations (More or less). The achievement "GREEN HILL Restored" won't register on my Xbox 360 T^T.
Other than that, I have entered the walls a few times in Generations while boosting, specifically this has happened most in Planet Wisp Modern, Nya~. My favorite glitch would be the super peek for the ghost recon games on the x-box and the 360 although the super peek was kind of taken away with GRAW and GRAW 2. Also for Ghost Recon and GRIT (Ghost Recon Island Thunder) The drop shot which was fix in Ghost Recon 2 and games after that. The drop shot allowed you to drop and stand super humanly fast and spin shot super fast. Example of a spin shot, would be when your laying down and you know someone is coming behind you. You spin and stand up super fast to kill the guy behind you. Those three were really common glitches. Well those and the lag dance but you said lag didn't count |

There are a lot of glitches in about every games, but my favorite glitches right now are the ones I am getting in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I'll just compile a small list of what happened to me in my 100+ hours of gameplay on Skyrim mainly because I am bored and should be doing a school projetc. Damn, I am such a rebel. Ladies? NOTE: Some of the stuff I'm about to write might sound VERY random but it is mainly because of the insane amount of mods I have on the game, and it tends to derp around at times. *The moonwalk: Once upon a time, the Dragonborn entered the city of Solitude. Sadly, he hadn't learned from the news of the new cool thing in town. Everybody was doing the motion of walking forward, but was moving backwards. Silly Dragonborn, not listening to the news and stuff. *The "OHGODIT'SEATINGMYHORSE": The Dragonborn was enjoying a nice casual stroll on his horse on the side of a mountain when suddenly, the mountain decided that there would be no horses in it's hood, oh hell naw. So it proceeded to make the horse sink inside of it. The Dragonborn got lucky and got off at the right time, only to see his horse slowly sinking down into the ground. The horse was never seen again. Goodnight kids, and try not to get yourself eaten by a mountain any time soon! *Floor slippery when hot/cold/wet/dry: The Dragonborn, still mourning the death of his horse with which he had a lot of baby centaurs (all those lovely mental images), was walking casualy in the woods. Only for him to suddenly speed up to lightspeed levels and hit a tree and die. Yeah, I never really quite got that one either... *Static mesh: (oh the joys of lazy titles) The Dragonborn, recently reborn from a satanic ritual known as the "Quickload", decided that to cheer himself up, it was time for some DRAGON HUNTING! YEAH! NOTHING CHEERS A MAN UP LIKE MURDERING A GIANT LETHAL FLYING FIREBREATHING LIZARD! Except for some lovely green tea while sitting down infront of the fireplace, reading and listening to classical music. Seriously, try it. Pretty relaxing. Anyway, to keep this one short cause it's already quite long with my all out caps rage. The dragon didn't have any animations and was just a flying paralyzed dragon. Turns out it was some stuff contradicting between two mods with dragons. Ah. And I'll give you fine lads a last one, cause you sure seem like nice people. *And yet it lives... and talks: Soon after seeing his life flash infront of his eyes right after his executioner got blown up by a dragon, the Dragonborn got back up and prepared to run to the tower for his life... but quickly got interrupted by the guy who got his head cut off right before him. The only thing that the... thing asked was: "Yes?". That was all that the Dragonborn remembered before waking up later half naked and with a massive pain the the buttocks. Cheers to you all, that's about the same amount of words I was supposed to be writing for school. And now I'm wondering why I am still here writing this and not continuing my work. But anyway, this makes me remember that I should take more screenshots. Cause I really should keep all this stuff saved in a folder somewhere. Well, I have a few useful glitches, courtesy of Final Fantasy Tactics.
Weapon Duplication Glitch - This is usually used to duplicate some of the Knight Swords, which are worth almost nothing, because they can't be purchased in a shop. With a knight (or someone who can equip a shield), equip the Two Swords ability and hold a weak shield in your RIGHT hand (upper slot)and the item you want to duplicate in your LEFT hand (lower slot). Go to a shop and hit best fit. It will create a copy of the good sword in your right hand, and the best sword the shop has in the left. With the Excalibur and Chaos Blade, this will only cost 10 gil on top of the weapon. Free JP Glitch - This can only be done on a class that has enough action abilities to take more than one page. Select a skill you can afford. Press circle, and when it asks for confirmation, hold square and press down so it selects an ability you can't afford. Confirm the purchase, and you should have 0 JP and neither skill. Press X to exit the job's screen, and you should now have 9999 JP. Blade Grasp - This glitch is kind of passive. Blade Grasp is supposed to give Brave% chance evasion from all non-ranged physical attack. However, it still blocks ranged attacks. Blade Grasp with 97 Brave (the maximum you can get it without boosting it in battle each time), you can catch arrows out of the air almost EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It doesn't work with abilities that always hit. And it was never patched in the PSP port, so it still works. Ah, in the two and a half decades of my gaming life I've seen plenty of glitches with plenty of games. The more recent one I know of, that everybody should know who have played it, is the duplicate weapon glitch in Dead Island. The one where you hold the weapon like you're going to throw it, then you press the throw and the drop buttons at the same time (or press the drop button slightly right after pressing the button to throw it). If it works you'll see your arm throw the weapon and immediately after it'll drop another just like it. There will be two weapons on the ground, both with the same stats, same type and same durability levels. You could do this all day with really strong weapons to rack up insane amounts of cash by selling them. If you ever play this game do this glitch. It's very, very easy to do and can be done at anytime. What I always did was glitch a copy of strong weapon I had with full durability and keep it in my inventory. That way when the weapon I was using was about to break I'd get rid of it, equip the copied weapon, make another copy that, and then use it until that too was about to break. It makes the game 3 times easier. |

I agree with everything that you said but i sometimes hate glitches all together when playing pokemon especially the walk through walls it's just isn't psychical possible so i say work the bugs out so they don't have to keep getting complaints from all over the world |

The Mew glitch and Ditto glitch in Yellow really helped me, but I could only do the Ditto glitch three times and you can get any Pokémon with it including any forms of Missingnumber. |

Don't know if this happens to anyone else, but on my Wii version of Black Ops at times when I play online it'll randomly freeze and I have to unplug the console to get rid of it. Other than that, great game, suprisingly great version, doesn't suck like most people would expect it to |

There was one glitch that scared the crap outta me in Spider-Man 2 on the XBox (the movie game). I was swingin' along, having fun, when I got to a story mission where you had to meet Aunt May at the bank (the part where Doc Ock takes her hostage and you have to fight him in the bank). I accidentally walked into the bank before finding the icon to change into Peter from Spider-Man, and was now locked in an empty bank. For some reason, it triggered that I'd gone in to start the mission and couldn't leave the bank until I'd defeated Doc Ock and the other enemies (giving me the message "You can't leave now")...but didn't spawn said boss and enemies for me to beat. Worst part was, I hadn't saved in a while and had to reset the game |
