So one day I sit down at the computer,
Bored from the games, bored from the shooters.
I surf the web for a place to stay,
A gaming community, if you may.

When silverthundr introduced me here,
All my boredom seemed to disappear.
I quickly made an account to this site,
But all the newbie crap turned down the hype.

Nonetheless, I made it through,
Taking the quizzes, spell-checking too.
Unable to make a signature or layout?
Give me a moment to cry or pout.

Either way, my rhyme is finished,
The fun of this thread is greatly diminished.
Although I like rhyming, and the Crazy House sounds nice,
Go post somewhere else? I'll take that advice.

Don't worry about that, what I posted wasn't real.
I don't think this place is all that bad I reveal.
I was just rambling on writing random rhymes,
Tapping at the keyboard, passing all the times.

So here's a new poem, for another new day,
I'm bored, and I'm miffed, so rhyming if you may.
It's just something I do when I gotta express;
It's still quality work I hope, nonetheless.

These days have been rough, I've really been busy,
My mood has been alright, but today it's been iffy.
If you don't know, I've been competing lately,
In piano, but I haven't been playing so greatly.

What's really making mad about the situation,
If I may say with some exclamation,
Is that some people lack respect, lack a certain tact;
In a position of power? It sucks, and it's a fact.

Being in a competition, I was really nervous,
But don't worry, you'll do fine, they all assure us.
Going into it, I knew I wasn't going to fare so well;
I hadn't prepared much, didn't expect it to go swell.

And as I predicted, the other person did better,
I just didn't do very well; my mind was in the gutter.
But the adjudicator just went and rubbed it in my face,
You did this and that wrong, everything out of place.

As she moved on to the next performer, she complimented him so.
Using the word lovely at least 7 times or mo-.
Finishing off with a "I'm sure you'll do great in the future"
But turned completely towards only him. What am I, an extra feature?

So I came back home, feeling pretty crappy about my day,
But like I said in my rant, I got over it I will say.
This place is a really nice place to vent,
But I'm not just ranting; rhymes DO prevent. 

So the end of another stanza, and the end of another night.
I'll end off the poem here, I'll end my stay, I might.
