From the first ever Dinosaur hunter, right to the newer future lost land, the Turok has been a game that can easily influence that of many people, and the series is fun itself. No doubt the Turok series will leave a happy tear in our eyes and a special place in our hearts, though its company that manufactured it, Acclaim, is now bankrupt.

Its true my friends and fellow gamers, this is no doubt going to be a great thread to talk on. Out of the all the Turok games, which one is your favorite and explain why. Remember, this is all based on your point of view, keep that in mind.

For example, I love the third Turok of the series, shadow of oblivion. It has a great plot and story line, and the weapons are simply breath taking.

Acclaim is bankrupt?? Oh..sad. I only have one of the Turok games, Evolution, for gamecube. It's a lengthy game that packs a lot of fun onto such a little disk. Gory action, might I add

taterii : Yeah actually. I'm not sure why, whether it was they wasn't selling enough games to keep them operational or something but they just one day upped and disappeared. Their last game was the newer Turok they released.

I have never really played a Turok game. I have seen them sold at a lot of places. What exactly do you do in the game? I always thought it looked interesting. Just never purchased it.

ZeegSerpentine : I suppose it's kind of expected, you don't hear about Acclaim in the news nowadays. They were at the peak of their popularity in the 90s and early 20s.

rcarter2 : Well the series is basically about a person who journeys threw an ancient world known as the Lost Land. In the first one, your job is to collect warp keys so you could get to the final boss, known as the Campaigner, and while you go to it, you pick up weapons and fight off minions. Turok 2 has more of a story line and missions that you need to complete. But now you go to fight the Primagin, a super minded being who wants to destroy light energy totems, that keeps him sealed. The third one is based on the rise of Oblivion, other dimensional beings that has searched to kill the chosen ones. Basically, you fight off  them. Easy really. Other then that there's the Rage Wars, that's like modern warfare maps, where there's nothing but team death matches. Then theirs Evolution, which is basically the start of all things, where the first of the legacy had started. Then theirs the newer turok, but I'm not so sure about that one.

Turok (2008) is my favorite. However it must have been fun to player 2 player on Evolution, or on the N64 if it had multiplayer. I have tried a bit of the early games for N64 and it's fun, but I just prefer to player newer games.
