Eniitan : Totally with you there.  I love most of the movies from Studio Ghibli, especially Ponyo and Arrietty.  They really prove that great movies can be made without all the violence of modern movies.  I hope that Netflix will stream the Studio Ghibli library soon.  I'll be super excited when that happens.  I also love Napoleon Dynamite and Spider-Man 2. I like Napoleon Dynamite for its simple, flat brand of humor, and Spider-Man 2 for how well the moral issues were portrayed along with a few hilarious moments (like when Spider-Man "steals" Peter Parker's pizzas).  Moments like that are really comedic gold.

 My favorite movie of all time is The Crow. I love the romantic, sci-fi, revenge thriller, noir-esque, semi-gothic tone of the movie and it turned out to be a big cult hit and an even fanboy hit, so I was grandfathered into a fad! Not sure yet if that is a positive thing though. Probably not. Anyway, it is also a movie my grandma used to watch with me a lot, so that also adds to my love for it. My favorite movie is eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Many have not seen this movie, but it completely blew my mind away time after time. Its a movie about a broken up relationship where the individual uses a technology to erase his memories. I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it so I won't go into any more details than that but it is by far Jim Carrey's best movie. He plays a serious role (in my opinion they are much better than his stupid comedy roles). His acting is very well done. Would recommend anyone see it.
