Here is my review on Gears of War 3:
Gears of War 3 is a pretty good game overall.  It has a great campaign and good multiplayer such as Beast and Horde Mode.  Versus Mode is alright but not very good in my opinion.  The guns are alright but the Sawed-Off Shotgun is overpowered in my opinion.  The Lancer is basically the only good primary weapon but the Retro Lancer's charge is pretty good.
Now I'll go into Beast Mode in a little bit more detail:

          Beast Mode is the best mode in multiplayer for this game in my opinion.  I love playing this (As long as your teammates don't suck ) and killing the humans with the available Locust and blowing them up with the Boomer.   There are only 12 waves which isn't very fun, I think they should add a Beast Mode with unlimited waves because 12 waves isn't enough to unlock the last row(or at least use the last row a few times.)

So overall a pretty good game, if you're into Third-Person Shooter games then I recommend picking this game up.

Well that was a pretty good review but it could be longer. I was not really sold that I should get the game from what you have said. I am more sold on what others have said. Maybe expand a bit more next time!

I like the review lol the shortness i think makes it better, theres a lot of people here that write pages and pages and although its a nice in-depth view it can be a bit tedious sometimes to read through whereas yours says what you like, why you like, and has a good recommendation at the end. I myself do like 3rd person shooters and after all the adverts Ive seen of gears of war I'm likely to get it now anyway hehe
