I'm using psx v1.13 and haven't had any problems except with resident evil survivor.  Every time I load it up, it goes to this black screen with a red slash (like from the no smoking signs) accompanied by some text I can't make out.  I can't seem to figure it out, any suggestions? Thanks to anyone who tries to help.

My guess is an anti-piracy screen (as mentioned in pSX's compatibility list). You have to get a patch for it, or load the game using a PAL BIOS.
