I found out that there is going to be call of duty convention in California and just wondering why are they leaving PS3 out for the modern warfare 3 multiplayer tournament out of it and use xbox I don't understand that cause. I don't want to pay to play online I rather play online for free and I think I have this in the wrong section. But come on I know modern warfare 3 is coming out for both systems but why xbox and not PS3 for this tournament if know this answer  to this please tell me thank you.

For the sake of the tournament it makes sense to be uniform about the system they use. There's no point to having two tournaments since the goal is for CoD fans, not fans of 360 and PS3, to have fun.

360 is long revered as the king of online, as much as I disagree with it.

Most major tournaments will use computer or 360 for that reason.

Id be like steam/valve,they serve the customers to an extent of sacrificing potential profit.
On top of that its a bonehead move,ps3 outsells in europe,asia, australasia.xbox really only still dominates in north america,all that keeps the facade going is the cash 'gifts' from microsoft.

Well, Microsoft has a pretty big loyal fanbase that's willing to pay money for quality online gaming. Other game companies have good online too, but not nearly as well done as Microsoft's.
