hello guys
i just downloaded resedent evil 1. it is a windows 95 game made for windows 95. In 95 you have dos and not conmand prompt like in XP and the game dont like it. then there is the part where you try and open it but it says " can only be played on windows 95".... and if i change that in the properites he becomes crouped. ARRRRR i dont know how to fix it... and i dont wont to delete it i have DL DOSbox0.71 it is ment to let you play dos games on XP but it only works on 95 lol... if you have any ideas plz send plz post lol

You could try install a virtual PC then get a copy of win95, shouldnt be to hard to find. Then install Win95 onto the virtual PC and then install RE1 on it.

I doubt the game requires much resources, so it should work fine.

Think of a virtual PC as a bit of software that acts as its own computer. So you can have XP running normaly, then in a window have Win95 running, and in another window Win98. Then Vista in another window. All that would slow down your computer alot, but you get the picture right?
