Have you ever heard of the Blue Man Group?

I think they are a group of great musical entertainers. When they are on stage. The group turns music into an art form. When playing drums. Colorful liquids pour out of a tube that is attached to their chest while they continue to beat on the drums causing colorful waves.

They have a good variety of instruments ranging from strings, drums, airpoles, pipes and tubes. I thoroughly enjoy watching the group. I find them quite entertaining.

They are doubtlessly visual performers, and does what they does well, but I do question the quality of the audio department. As it was your post that introduced me to them, I do not know much about how they became popular and their origins, or even other work, but from what I have seen, their visual show doubtlessly outshines their musical performance.

I stand by what I said before, largely, but they are fairly creative in both the visual aspects and auditory aspects of the show. I can, at the very least, respect that. I think I will look through more of their material tonight before I form a solid opinion however. 

That is fine. I respect your opinion about the subject. In the end. People have their own opinions about different things. You may not care for them, but then again. You may like them in the end.

Whatever the case maybe. It's about sharing the thoughts about the subject and I'll respect your opinion if you don't like them.

Well, that is all one can ask from a person voicing their . I can see where you`re coming from, though, about this group, and I respect that as well. I will admit flat out the style is interesting and worth at the very least giving a chance, but unfortunately a lot of people won`t because it isn`t a top 40 hit, or on the billboard top 100. 

I have actually seen the Blue Man group in person and they put on a very entertaining show. Sadly though, that's what it pretty much is, a show. The music is nice, but nothing that would necessarily be groundbreaking. However, coupled with the music that plays, the show is an amazing creative experience from beginning to end. One of their coolest parts is when they play a whole segment on these huge PVC pipe instruments. And they shoot paint!

I also saw Blue Man Group in person. An amazing show and their antics are quite fun to watch. Best was at the end when all the paper rolls go, I was in one of the first rows and all the paper got pushed on top of us.

Heh, Blue man Group. I like those guys because they're aline-like. I will say that they are visual performers, and not musicians. They focus on turning music and sounds into sight, more or less, and also creating sounds from odd "instruments", objects and devices. They specialize in the weird and cool-looking. By no means are they trying to make their music fantastic. If you see them, it's for the visual effects. Just like someone goes to a horror movie for the horror, and not a love scene.

I did see them live, too. It was during a booze cruise with my buddies while we were in Cancun in 2005. We got to an island. I had no idea they were there and was amazed to see them. I was right up against the stage. Furthermore, I got pulled up onto the stage with them along with a few other random people, and us and the BMG were drenched in a beer shower coming from sprinklers above the stage. Definitely a highlight of that trip.

I totally agree.

Well, I have The Complex and that is a pretty good CD. They have instrumentals on there as well as songs with vocals. They might not be as good as a band that's been playing for years, but that CD is pretty good.
