As everybody knows Mortal Kombat 9 is coming out, but the stores in my town won´t get the game untill tuesday so i wonder how people feel about this game...should i get it?

I preordered the collector's edition off of Amazon (subzero and scorpion statues, art book, ermac and reptile retro costumes[reptile was an amazon pre-order exclusive], scorpion avatar award costume and netherrealm games avatar shirt) and I am more than satisfied.

I was a huge Mortal Kombat nerd growing up so I was ecstatic when I found out this was coming out. Got the game last Tuesday and I've been playing it ever since. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Mortal Kombat or just fighting games in general. Ed Boon said in an interview that this is a game for the fans, essentially a tribute to the older games; I think it definitely worked, and would actually love to see NetherRealm games make another one sometime in the future (maybe work some of the newer characters in, like some from MK4, Deadly Alliance, etc.)
