Out of all the RPG games I've played, which while isn't as many as most (maybe about 10-20), I have to say it's hands down the best I've ever seen. The graphics on the game are really good cell shading and it does have a little too much bloom on certain things, but doesn't detract from the game too much. The game intertwines a lot of philosophy, which can be good for some, bad for others. To me the philosophy is very good in that it makes you question the world around you and question who you are and whether you are who you want to be. The game also had me emotional attached to it which no game has ever done before. All in all best RPG I've ever played, sorry Chrono Trigger you just got knocked down to second one my list of best RPGs.

So I ask this, for anyone who has played Eternal Sonata, what did you think of the game?

From what I have played from the demo on xbox360 is was actually really fun, but would love to buy it to get the full experience. I will be getting it for PS3 however with the additional character, and content? I thought the story was solid, and graphics were great for what it is, and I had no problem with the tactical fighting mechanics.

Yeah the PS3 version also has Serenade as a playable characters and they also changed some levels. I'll be buying the PS3 version eventually so I can play the extra stuff.
