Firstly, I think they should remove ALL PokeMon from the roster and allow the Trainer to choose which three he wants to take into battle (near-limitless replayability right there, especially if PokeMon are added to the list after the first time the pop out of a pokeball in a battle). Next, remove whichever version of Link is worse and replace him with with Midna. Remove King DeDeDe and never mention him again. Ever. Remove Snake. He's cool, but far too serious for Smash Bros. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, BRING ROY BACK!!! Variation in Super Smash Attacks. Lastly, the following characters might be good for the roster:

There are two major characters that I want for the next Smash Bros.

Eevee from Pokémon could probably be fit in somehow. The player picks Eevee's evolution before the battle starts. When Eevee gets a Smash Ball and uses it, it evolves. Each of the evolutions can have their own special Final Smash.

I wish they would add Krystal from StarFox. The episodes with her were kind of bad, but they could probably do a good job with her if she had her staff. Maybe they could have her ride the Skyrunner that spits fireballs instead of getting a tank for a final smash. If that didn't work for the programmers, just make her use the stronger Earth Quake attack that her staff can do.
