OK I was playing Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I beat Albus and got the last peace of Dominus. But when I used the Glyph Union with Dominus equipped as Barlowe told me to, I died. In the cutscene, Barlowe said "Your sacrifice will save millions" then showed a person trapped in Albus' Torpor Crystal cage. It might've been me in there, but I couldn't make out the image of the person in it. So what happened? Surely that isn't how the game ends...
