Although pokemon can evolve into much stronger ones, the video games have sort of "evolved" in the same way. from firered to the upcoming black and white, you can tell me all about your experiances here.

Yeah you're right, the games have sort of "evolved" or changed and my experiences with Pokemon have been great and have been a big part of my childhood. I remember first getting my GameBoy color and playing my Red version and Yellow version. Those games were the best and couldn't even think there would be games better than these. Later they release the silver and gold version and I just kept collecting and buying all the games up to Leaf Green and Fire Red. That was when they had 2 on 2 battles and that was the s***! I remember we used to all take our gameboys everywhere we went and everyone was playing Pokemon. Although I am a big fan of Pokemon and my experiences with have been great I've fallen behind on the newer ones like Diamond and Pearl and Black and White versions of the game because I don't own a Nintendo DS.

I think we have had at least two or three threads about peoples experiences with Pokemon and their Pokemon journeys, so I'll have to close this rather then move it, sorry.
