Hello everyone. So what usb controller do you use, if any at all, to play your retro games?
I am currently using this

it's retractable.
Looking to maybe purchase a different one.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank You

I couldn't find a picture, but I use a cheap little $10 PS3/PC controller I found on clearence one day. It works fine for Retro gaming, but my computer doesn't read the analog sticks that well, so can't do modern gaming with it.

Yeah, I use pretty much the same model as Sugiacs picture as well.
It's great, has lasted ages, is logitech so you know it will last.
It's really good for playing games that would normally be played on a console.

I too use the Logitech Dual-Action, as Surgiac, Seeron, and DH use. It's reliable, comfortable, and works great.

Yep, I would recommend one from Logitech. I myself don't have one, but whenever I go to my friend's house and use it, it proves to be quite good.

Thank you all for the suggestions.
I for one, would like to purchase this Logitech Dual-Action controller.
I'll be browsing the net for any info on it.
Oh by the way, my philips controllers D-pad tends to be sticky and inaccurate in performance. How is the D-pad on the Logitech Dual-Action controller?

Again thanks everyone for responding and I appreciate it.

I'm currently using a GAME branded USB PC controller I got for €6. It works perfectly and looks just like the PS3 controller which I am used to by now! It's great for SNES games as the controllers are quite similar, a tad awkward for Nintendo 64 games but not bad!

The D-Pad works quite well. It's accurate & I've never had a problem with it sticking. Logitech makes good products. The headset I use is also from Logitech.

It might take a bit getting used to using it for the N64 games though. The joypad is a bit more sensitive than the N64 controller's joypad was.

Surgiac : Thank you very much for suggesting it to me! I agree that they make good products, as I own a set of pc speakers from them and they are of good quality. I think this controller you got is a winner for me. Looks like I would bond with it quite nicely, or will it bond with me quite nicely? the world may never know.. unless?.. purchase coming soon.. haha
My thanks goes out to everyone for the info.

I use my PS3 controller. Took a little to set it up but I like it. Don't have to get used to a new controller set up.

I too use a Logitech Dual-Action Controller for the Retro games in the Retro Game Room. yah, it is pretty comfortable and it does work great.

I also use my PlayStation3 controller. I like the PlayStation 3 controller. It is very light and easy to handle, and I also like the silver one. That one looks cool.

Mark me down for the Logitech controller as well. Not as good for manual button mashing, but that's probably more the fault of the computer. There are turbo settings on most emulators I think anyway.
