This is a review for Earthworm Jim and this is the Genesis version review, not the SNES version review.

Okay, now to start this off I'm gonna say that Earthworm Jim is probably one of the funniest games I've played in many many years. It had a great way of representing humor in it, also some parts of it are a little gross, but still funny.

Story 7/10
WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
There really isn't much to the story but to be honest, there doesn't have to be. One of the funniest things is you're rescuing a princess(go figure) but, while you're in stage 1 you launch a cow which you can't skip. But in the you get to the princess and..... she gets crushed by the cow. Why did we have to launch that stupid cow?

Music 9/10
This game has some fuuuuuny sound effects that the SNES version left out. It also has some great music too. But one music in particular I'd like to point out. Is the music from the stage "What the Heck?", yes it is made to look like and sound like the h word. But the funniest thing about the music, is part way in, you start hearing elevator music, that alone with the random shrieks of pain makes this level pretty scary, but funny at the same time.

Gameplay 9/10
You get a great selection of different level environments to play in, from weird planets with strange monsters to even weirder planets with the strangest stuff you'll see in a long time. A very funny experience in the levels.

Controls 8/10
The controls are good, responsive and easy to master which makes this game even better.

Overall 9.5/10
The combination of humor, great music and controls, fun as heck gameplay make this game on my top 10 list of greatest games. It is definitely worth a try and I can recommend this game to anyone considering how great it is. Hope you enjoyed this review!
