I personally like Azure Dreams. There was a follow-up/ semi-remake to it called "Tao's Adventure" for the DS, but it kinda sucked. I like the original better.

A few of my other notable RPGs include Terranigma, Secret of Evermore, Lufia I & II, Azure Dreams is a good one, so are Dragon Warrios Monsters 2 and Monster Rancher series if your into that style of game. As are Golden sun 1 & 2 (GBA), they are worth playing as well.

Oh And Bahamut Lagoon. If you have never played it and like Tatics-RPGs then i would recommend this for sure.
