IGN recently posted a transcript of a speech made by Iwata from Nintendo at the Game Developers Conference. Here is the link: http://cube.ign.com/articles/595/595089p1.html

The transcript contains info about Revolution (much to my surprise) being backwards compatible and having Wi-Fi connections. He also talks a bit about Zelda. Also the Nintendo DS is going to be able to get on the internet wirelessly and play games over it. Big news for Nintendo fans.

Nintendo is finally stepping up. It would be nice to see them return to the top but i think the Microsoft and Sony have a advantage since they both have expeirence with online capabilties.

Nintendo also trying for more third party support will also draw gamers back in.

Meh in all my experiences its been slow and unreliable. Hopefully nintendo will prove me wrong or have a NIC on their new console. Its nice to know they're keeping up in the console wars. Also more third party developers being loyal to nintendo would help alot.
