Yeah, hitler kinda changed the world for us all, but even like, one person (Somehow) stealing a nuke and dropping it in the most populated place in the world, that would change the world! Or, if some alien dude fires a laser right through our planet, that would change the world. Or, some other things, so yeah.

Hitler was a major person in history. Although, I would have to say it's not that he really changed the world as much as he broght war to it while trying to. He was trying to change the world by changing the people within it. The whole making people with blue eyes with blond hair.

To answer your question, yes, any one person can change the whole world. Sometimes easily. There are other people that have changed the world, in a huge way as a matter of fact, that aren't talked about so much. Henry Ford, inventor of the car. His Model T Ford was the beginning of a new age for mankind. Wouldn't you say he changed the world? I'm sure by now we would have come up with some means of transportation if he wasn't around, but what would the world be like today without cars? Or the Wright brothers and their invention of the air plane. That was a major change. Those two are just examples of how people made technology to change the world. Others have altered civilization by means of a different way, whether it be politics or ideals.

I would say yes and no to this because of all the variables. Osama Bin Laden kind of changed the world but he didn't do it soley by himself, it was his decisions influenced on other people that lead to it. Same with Hitler. Presidents change the world also but really they are not doing it alone, they might be the original creator of an idea or decision but in the end are they the only one carrying that out. Like I said it all depends, sports, one person can change the world on some figures. Martin Luther King of changed the world by himself along with Abe Lincoln. But like I said theres to many variables to this question to pin point my answer to yes or no.

I'm gonna have to say no, one person cannot change the world. But when one person influences others then they influence others then they change the world. It's pretty much impossible for me to go outside and talk to the gangsters and be like "Stop killing and selling drugs" and them and all the gangs to just stop. Not to say that one person hasn't done that and it actually worked. but I do digress, one person can't change the world but many can as I said before and I am stuck on repeat mode today

Every change in the world was wrought by one person. An idea can be shared between minds and expanded and worked upon, but it all started in one person's mind. Everything we've ever accomplished, researched, discovered, invented, or anything ever, has been because of the thoughts and labours of one person. Anyone can make a difference, they just have to put in a ridiculous amount of work and motivation.

Well said! That pretty much sums it up, I'd say.

Adolf Hitler

Rosa Parks

Martin Luther King

George Washington

Benjamin Franklin

Alexander Graham Bell (at least I think he's the guy that invented the telephone Lol)

And this is only a few of the people who changed the world by themselves...

So yeah, I'd say one person CAN change the world...

Of course 1 person can change world Though some are more famous then others... take Davideo7 for example, he has changed a lot in gaming community especially with the RGR, GYR, and all the other stuff he has planned for future.

You don't need to be famous to change the world either. Most the time its the little people (no not midgets) who change the world not the other way around. A great way to change the world is kill someone famous who is in a important position... kinda like JFK or MLK murders.

I think some people get way too much credit though. Hitler would not be anything if it wern't for his army, Steven Spielberg would be nothing if it wern't for all those people who help with his movies, Obama would be nothing if it wern't for mass media. Everyone makes a difference and then there is always the frosting at the top, the person or label who ultimately will take all the credit for it

It starts by one person then it goes to another person where the chain reaction begins. It continues until the last person gets it.

I don't think you can say that Hitler changed the world "by himself". It's not like he single-handedly invented antisemitism or racism. He needed the cooperation of the people working under him, otherwise nothing that he had planned would never have been carried out.

M!cH@3l 001 : I don’t know if one person can change the world but I am a believer that a person’s words can have a deep impact over time. Muhammad Ali would be the best example. He went from one of the most disliked athletes in some circles in the 60s but now is one of the most loved figures in the world. He stood up for what he believed in and spoke his mind and, I feel what he did as a civil rights figure is equally as great or perhaps greater than anything he did in a boxing ring.

I don't think it takes only one person to change the world, I wouldn't except any of the previous posts as world changing people. I do however beleive that if someone has the strength and motivation, they can create a swing of change. I think that if your goal is to try to change the world, then a few people who beleive in your goals will be needed along the way. (Hitler Did Just that)

Best Keep your concience as clean as you can, or charma will come with a blade in it's hand. It will strike all those who seek to gain without giving, and spare all of those who are weak and forgiving.

Yes. It takes a great leader to do that. Remember that great does not always mean good. An evil person can be a great leader if he unites the people under him. People like Hitler did that. However, the good can also do that. Personally none of them come to mind, because changing the world is a hard thing.

I myself do not have fantasies of changing the world ever. I'll be happy to be the grain of sand with no intent of ever going beyond my own backyard with thoughts. Only because, I don't think the world isn't worth changing. =P
