Action-Adventure RPG
It’s like they threw the thrill of action, the depth of adventures, and character growth into a blender.
Games:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Slaying monsters and choosing your destiny. Wild right?
Assassin's Creed Odyssey – Parkour, stealth, and dialog choices. Ancient Greece never looked so good.
Horizon Zero Dawn - Robot dinosaurs + epic storylines = whoa.

Strategy-Shooter
It's about brains AND bullets. Plan your moves, then execute with deadly precision.
Games:
XCOM: Enemy Unknown – Aliens invading? Time to get tactical. Pew pew!
Valkyria Chronicles – A little bit of anime, a touch of WW2, and lotsa strategy.
Rainbow Six Siege - Choose your operator, plan, and breach!

Roguelike Deckbuilder
Combining the unpredictability of roguelikes with the strategy of card games. Why? Cuz it’s fun, duh.
Games:
Slay the Spire – Climb, collect cards, get killed. Repeat.
Monster Train – Hell's under attack! Choo choo choose your deck wisely.
Griftlands - It's all about negotiation, with cards. And fists.

Metroidvania RPG
Explore massive interconnected worlds and level up while you're at it.

Hollow Knight – Bugs, swords, and skills! It's cuter than it sounds.
Salt and Sanctuary – Like Dark Souls met Castlevania on a rainy day.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Old-school vibes meet modern RPG elements.

Horror-Adventure Puzzle
Nothing says “fun” like being scared outta your wits while solving brain-teasers, right?

Silent Hill 2 – Misty towns, creepy monsters, and head-scratching puzzles.
Resident Evil 7 – Welcome to the family! Now, figure your way out.
The Room - Eerie, intricate, and you can't stop til you've solved it all.

Puzzle-Platformer
So, you like jumping around? How about scratching your head while doing it?

Portal – Who knew flinging yourself through space with a gun could be so brain-bending?
Limbo – Dark, moody, and makes you go "huh?" more than once.
Braid - Time manipulation + platforming = brain melting goodness. Damn, so good.

Survival Horror-RPG
Stay alive, level up, and maybe – just maybe – sleep with a light on.
Games:
Dead Island – Zombies, paradise, and skill trees. Dream vacation, amirite?
The Forest – Plane crash, creepy cannibals, and base-building. What's not to love?
Pathologic 2 - Dark, twisted, and you've gotta strategize to stay alive.

Fighting-RPG
Smash buttons and faces, but with leveling up and story arcs!
Games:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (World of Light mode) – It’s not just about smashing; it’s a journey.
Dragon Ball FighterZ - Kamehame-yeah, this one's deep.
Soulcalibur VI (Libra of Soul mode) - Fight across the world, making choices, building a legend.

Sports-Management Simulation
It’s not enough to play the game. Now you gotta run the whole show!

Football Manager – More intense than any actual match. Seriously.
Out of the Park Baseball – Baseball’s a thinking man’s game, espesh when you run the team.

Rhythm-FPS
Shoot on beat or suffer the consequences. Rock out with your Glock out!

Crypt of the NecroDancer: AMPLIFIED - Dance and dodge, all while slaying beasties.
BPM: Bullets Per Minute - Aim, shoot, reload... all in perfect harmony. Literally.

Metroidvania-Roguelike
Explorative side-scrollers where every run is a fresh hell... erm, challenge!

Dead Cells – Die, evolve, repeat. The mantra of masochists.
Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition – Explore, die, get a bit further. Sooo addictive.
Axiom Verge - Retro vibes and tons of weapons to unlock, but good luck keeping them.

Battle Royale-Card Game
Because dropping onto an island is too mainstream. How about a card-battling arena?

The Bazaar – From the mind behind Hearthstone, but wayyy more chaotic.
Kards - WWII-themed card game where strategy meets unpredictability.
Storybook Brawl – Fairy tales drop into a card fight to the death. Dark, right?

Sports-Adventure
More than just scoring. Embark on epic journeys, ball in hand... or foot.
Games:
Pyre – It's like basketball, but with magic and a rich narrative. No biggie.
Golf Story - Who knew golfing could save the world? Or at least a town. Or something.
Supraland – Platforming, puzzles, and sports? Mad combo, bro.

Hack and Slash-Strategy
Slash through hoards but, like, think about it first.
Games:
Mount & Blade: Warband – Lead your army, but also get down and dirty yourself.
For Honor – Knights, Vikings, and Samurais strategizing and then just full-on brawling.

FTL: Faster Than Light – Manage a spaceship and its crew.

Pinball-Adventure
Flipper quests? Sure, why not!
Games:
Yoku's Island Express – Pinball mechanics in a platformer world.
Sonic Spinball – The blue hedgehog in a pinball frenzy.
Rollers of the Realm – Medieval pinball with a storyline.

Puzzle-Platformer games are good. Portal was amazing.

Action-Adventure RPG's are largely my favorite genre mashup. I enjoy the The Witcher series and a few more other games like it like Hogwarts Leagcy, which i recently started playing a few weeks ago.

A close second would be Horror-Adventure Puzzle since Resident Evil is on that list. Its really the only game franchise i really like in that genre.

supercool22 : Action-Adventure RPG is superior to plain boring RPG. A basic RPG to me is boring and too slow. Mix in some Action-Adventure and now I'm hooked.

Well, I don't know if you would count these but here are some more. I want to give you good information.

Action-RPG Dungeon Crawler:

Diablo III: Blends fast-paced action with RPG elements and dungeon crawling. (I looked up some Dungeon Crawler games, and this was what I found)

Platformer-Metroidvania:

Ori and the Blind Forest: Combines the platformer genre with Metroidvania style exploration; (I've play the game, I thought that it would be a Platformer-Metroidvania game)

Action-RPG Card Game:

Hand of Fate: Mixes action combat with card-based decision-making and deck-building. (Never heard of the game, just a game I found that fits the title)

Stealth-Action RPG:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Offers stealth, action, and RPG elements in a futuristic cyberpunk setting. (Sounds like a fun game)

Strategy-Action RPG:

Divinity: Original Sin 2: Combines deep RPG storytelling with strategic turn based combat. (I've wanted to play the game. But I found out it was a Strategy game)

Puzzle-Adventure RPG:

The Legend of Zelda series: It has a blend of actionadventure, puzzle-solving, and RPG elements. (I've heard so much of the game, and yet, I've never played it)

Rhythm-Action RPG:

THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE.
A Rhythm game with many different courses to do, and four difficulty's, basically a timing game. (One of my favorites on the list)

Tower Defense-Action RPG:

Dungeon of the Endless: Combines tower defense strategy with RPG elements nd dungeon exploration. (Sounds like a mindless game)

Open-World Survival RPG:

ARK: Survival Evolved: Open world exploration, survival mechanics, and RPG progression> (Never played it, I want to though.)

Platformer-Shooter:

Cuphead: Combines run and gun platforming with boss battles and a unique 1930s cartoon art style. (I thought Halo would be a Platformer-Shooter)
