The RGR Plugin is currently unavailable due to SSL renewal issues. It should hopefully be back up sometime between Saturday and Monday (8/5 - 8/7).


pokemon x discovered a temporary solution:
Step 1- Go here https://rgrplugin.vizzed.com:2761/
Step 2- Proceed to page despite warning if it says something about Security Certificate is expired accept anyways.
Step 3- Close page and go back to a game and it should now work again.

janus: Can I know the error you get? I just tried running it via a VM and the plugin worked for me. One big thing that was an issue was making sure the service was running.



Edit: Correction restarting the VM it now no longer works that is weird.

Seems like the service isn't properly running.


Double Edit I don't fully understand how I did it and I don't know if this is a good fix yet but still going to the page above and making sure it has "https" in the url got it to load and work again.
Yeah this seems to still work after restarting.

Some other things I did since I don't know if it makes a difference.

I set the firefox portable install as run as administrator in admin.

Also did that to the "VizzedFirefoxHttpServiceLauncherCpp.exe"

so i can't play any game for some reason i'll get a message that says this site is untrusted, when i try to refresh it nothing happens.

cafeman55 : Did the option give you anywhere to trust the site manually? Or can you send us a screenshot of the page? (Easiest way is opening snipping tool and use that to screenshot and upload it in the new post page or somewhere like imgur if over 500KBs)

I apologize for not providing any updates on this.

So the SSL Key that I used became jeopardized when I pasted in the wrong code when I was renewing the rgrpplugin.vizzed.com SSL. Took me a while to figure out what was happening and I had spent a lot of time and even some money (by purchasing SSLs from other providers to see if they would let me overcome the jeopardized key issue).

So I've concluded that I need to have the RGR Plugin 2022+.msi file updated with a new SSL Key. I've contacted Tom, the RGR Plugin developer, to update the key and to get me a new installer.

I'm hoping he doesn't charge more than $100 for this update. Not sure when he'll get it taken care of, but it shouldn't be too difficult of an update. The only obstacle is that his MS Visual Studio 2008 license expired. If that obstacle can be overcome (by maybe using a newer version of Visual Studio and hopefully therefore giving him a new trial) then I would imagine he could have a new installer for us within a week.
