I've been doing a lot of song rating over in the Video Game Music Room recently, and I decided I wanted a place to share my favorties outside of reviews, and to have other uses share their favorites as well, all in one place.

The gen 3 wild theme is easily my favorite song in the entire Pokemon franchise (though I only like the original and hate remixes and remastered versions) I love the instruments and how clean and crisp it sounds.

This is my favorite song from Hollow Knight. I just think this is a perfect theme song.

When it comes to video game music still nothing beats the theme song of One Must Fall 2097

While it may not probably be the best of its game or even the best version in existence, I must say that the GX version of Mute Cuty's theme is my favorite. Mixing electronic music with its epic guitar riff is just fantastic.

Another one I have in my favorite list is by far the Sand Ruins Theme of Sonic Riders. I fell in love with this track immediately, the blend of ancient sounds with a solid yet calm base and electronic theme is absolutely marvelous.

I couldn't leave out of this post my all-time favorite. I have a few out of Gran Turismo for PSP in my list, but above them all is the great Colorful Monochrome, a masterpiece of rock music that requires absolutely no lyrics to make it epic. One of the very few songs that wouldn't make me shut the music down to hear the roar of the engines.

I have a lot of video game music that I like to listen too.

Here is my list in no particular order.

Freeze Man's Theme Mega Man 7- I really like this theme. I always picture the snow on the conifers and the amazing graphics. I suggest you look this theme up on Youtube.

Turbo Man's Theme Mega Man 7- Okay, I really like Mega Man 7's soundtrack. Turbo Man's soundtrack is upbeat its really special.

Slash Man's Theme Mega Man 7- Sticking with Mega Man 7 Slash Man's theme is a very nice theme indeed. I always liked his stage with the jungle in the background.

Intro Stage Mega Man X3 SNES- This is a good upbeat fast pace tune. I sometimes play this song when I am exercising. It really gets you moving and it rocks.

Neon Tiger stage Mega Man X3 SNES- Okay this tune just rocks. Its basically a rock tune. If you like Rock you should check out this tune.

Blizzard Buffalo Stage Theme Mega Man X3 SNES- This theme reminds me of Christmas Music. I guess it is because the stage is a winter wonderland with ice and snow. The stage music is very relaxing and calming.

Pluto Stage Theme Mega Man V for Game Boy- This is a unique tune that starts of with an awesome intro. Its just fun to listen too and it rocks.

Jupiter Stage Them Mega Man V for Game Boy- This is another calming tune that is fun to listen too. The stage is hectic and has a lot going on maybe that is why they made the stage theme relaxing.

Stone Man Theme Mega Man 5 and Mega Man IV- This is a theme that always makes me think of a mountain stage. Its catchy and fun to listen too.

The Shooting stage Mega Man V- This plays as you close in on Wily's Spaceship. Its a very catchy and upbeat tune. It is so easy to lose concentration and get hit with an enemy or Wily's lasers.

Yoshii's Island SNES Soundtrack- This game has got so many catchy tunes I cannot list them all here. This soundtrack is amazing and has everything from slow paced tunes to fast paced tunes.

Into the Forest Donkey Kong Country 2 SNES- This is one of my favorite tunes from Donkey Kong Country 2- Its just amazing its relaxing and upbeat.

Donkey Kong Country 3 SNES- I really like all the music in this game. There is not one bad song. I could not list them all.

I also think these tuns should get honorable mentions- Shadow Man's theme from Mega Man 3, Pharroah Man's Theme from Mega Man 4 and IV, Charge Man Theme Mega Man 5 and IV, Crystal Man's Theme, Dive Man's Theme, Gemini Man's theme, Aqua Man's theme from Mega Man 8, Sword Man from Mega Man 8, and of course all of Mega Man X2's soundtrack.
