Once again we find ourselves in the Popcap files where we downloaded the games from a certain place and we didn't care if the computer caught a virus today we're going to talk about Feeding Frenzy a game I haven't played in years and I don't even own a copy of so bear with me
Gameplay and Story: So what's the story you start off as Andy the Angel fish there isn't much story except the more you eat the more you grow, and when you grow you can eat fish that are bigger than you are, until you become an orca and have to go up against the king shark. Of course there are obstacles in the way like Jellyfish, Pufferfish (you can eat them, just not when they're inflated), Underwater Bombs, Clams that can bait you with their pearls, oh and that oh so tempting barracuda, and the mutant minnow that can slow you down if you ingest them (the golden minnows can help you grow faster as will the black pearls)
Graphics: man what gorgeous backgrounds there are, and oh you can even unlock screensavers (but you don't need to do the same as Insaniquarium no you don't need to babysit these fish
Soundtrack: Why do undersea games have the best soundtrack? it sounds so gorgeous I can't even think straight
Addictive: hoo boy I can only tell you the number of times I downloaded this game it was that addictive because I wasn't finished
Depth: There are 5 fish you play as there's Andy the Angler, Leon the Lion Fish, Eddie the angler (when you play as the angler there are lightbulb bubbles that you use to keep the reef lit up because that thing doesn't stay on...oh wait that's in the sequel), John Dory (which I can only assume to be a grouper), and Orville the Orca, there are several bonus rounds to play. Also somewhere early in the game a tool is unlocked where you can suck an entire school of fish for a bonus, there are bubbles that help you move faster, and there's this bubble that would allow you to eat all the fish in the area, and this S one that makes you sparkle (I don't know if it makes you invisible but I know such a function exists in the second one)
Difficulty: it's easy at first but then it gets hard especially in some areas where the area is so big that you are shrunk and you have to dodge orcas and sharks
Post-review follow up: I think what I meant to say in yesterdays review is I would review Eyewitness History of the World (I could add it, 1.0 works but 2.0 doesn't which makes me sad) but I really want to replay that, I downloaded it from the archive yesterday but then my mother came home. I also I don't own a copy of Feeding Frenzy which is why there's no screenshot
This concludes my review, join me tomorrow when I review Feeding Frenzy 2 (I might review paperboy 2 for an extra review today since that's the double CP action today...or maybe I'll get eyewitness history of the world out of the way because I don't feel like playing paperboy)
