sonic origins what did you guys think of sonic origins?
me i though it was meh because they took away some songs and the bonus in sonic doesn't speed up is like what

As of now I can't give a full opinion of the game as I've not played it since I'm unwilling to spend $40 on games I've owned tons of times over the years but as for what I think of the gameplay I've seen and such... I think it's really bad that people have dealt with so many glitches I mean the games are classics I wish they were treated with respect and given however long they needed to patch out weird issues that shouldn't even be in the game in the first place. I also hate the new music which confuses me cause I like the prototype versions of the songs but the new versions just don't sound good in my opinion. I've wanted to play the ports of Sonic 1 and 2 for a long time so I'll probably get the game at a later date once it's cheap enough I can convince myself it's worth it which with how many games I wanna play that come out within this year is probably going to take the game being around $10 so yeahhh not playing it anytime soon.

Edit so seeing Zander's post actually reminded me of something else I take issue with in Sonic Origins why is the classic mode not actually the classic games I wouldn't take issue with it if they made it close enough like just remove the spindash from Sonic 1 and that would make me a lot happier but I feel like it's just dishonest to call it classic versions when it's really the ports from mobile but in 4:3 but even in the port version of 1 you could turn the spindash off if you wanted the classic experience so idek.

I think it's great to have a lot of the older games on the Switch but I just don't think that it's enough content, especially for the price. Look at Mega Man, the Battle Network collection is going to be 10 games and the Zero ZX Collection was six games for $30 and under right after launch.

It's cool that you have the museum and two versions of each game, but I don't think it's worth more than like $25 or $30 with this much content.

I'm hopeful that the price drops quickly since the other Sonic games usually top half off within a few months.

I was a victim of buying the deluxe thinking it be worth the money but when I started playing the game I noticed the music was weak. It sounded so compressed and the whole sonic 3 and knuckles… they ruined ice cap zone. That’s literally a song I grew fond of and to hear that utter garbage is a disgrace. The museum and story mode is alright but it’s definitely not worth the money I spent. If they got the original soundtrack for S3&K I would be fine with it alone
