My best friend recently upgraded to an Xbox Series X and in exchange he decided to gift me two entire Xbox One's and a couple games. I was shocked, to say the least. Especially since it was so out of the blue when it happened.

What was the most "Wow, are they really giving me that?!" kinda gift you remember ever getting?

That is really nice of your friend to do. The type of person to not think twice about giving things to their homie is a lifelong one that's for sure.

The closest expereince I can remember is a couple years ago my cousin gifted my some nintendo memorabilia and Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii. Which I think is pretty sick lol

This is hard for me because I'm not really one to have much reaction to gifts so only 2 things stick out in my mind which both happened in a several month period which was first Fyredove getting me my Switch was really nice of her and honestly might overtake the PS2 as my favorite console someday. The other gift would be my mom randomly being like yo I'm getting you an Xbox One so you can play Kingdom Hearts 3 and I think that one sticks out in my mind since it was so out of left field.

The best thing that I've been gifted would be a gold pocket watch that I got from someone for my 18th birthday ages ago. I've never used it, but it's massive, looks really good, and has a couple things engraved on the inside like my name and birthday.

I've gotten other things that were bigger and better but they were less of gifts and more of giveaways and such.

Zeldisaster : Does winning a prize count? If it does count, I have been gifted a new flat screen smart TV back in 2018, and it was also my birthday at that time. The TV is 40 inches but it does not have 4k however, but I plan on keeping it until it breaks. There is not much reason to upgrade if it is not broken.

I have trouble accepting gifts and I don't normally like it when people do gift me things even if it's something I wanted. But one gift that makes me happier than anything was when my best friend gifted me my first MTG deck. It's a terrible starter deck but I still use it to this day, and honestly its also the reason we're become such good friends.

Honestly it was an Xbox one like five years ago in terms of monetary value. Mine was recently stolen and a friend gift it to me as a pity which kinda annoyed me but was grateful nonetheless. Still have it but it broke last year and went with an Xbox series x now

Well this is probably not impressive to that many but for me it was what I needed at the moment. In December 2009 I found out I would be having brain surgery to remove a non cancerous tumor. I have shared this story a few times on here. I was told if I did not have the surgery even though the tumor was non cancerous I was going to die. I also was told if I had the surgery I could die as it was a risky surgery. My surgery would take place on December 31st 2009. I give God credit for guiding the doctors hands and that I am still here.

Anyway, the gift I got was a special pillow. This pillow was very cushioned and soft. When I came back from the hospital. This pillow felt so soft when I would sleep. It did not bother my head at all, which was important since I had just had surgery. I could sleep without jarring my head due to the extra cushion and padding.

I don't know if it qualifies as "impressive", but that silver coin I received from a great-aunt was certainly unexpected. It's big and still in mint condition in its case (directly from the Vatican). It might be worth a lot in a few years...
