Seuss for Older Fans   poke-fan-1900
As much as I love my Dr. Seuss stuff, I was shocked to find that this games difficulty level is above what I would think the targeted age range for this game is. This is the lowest difficulty mind you as there are actually two difficulty ranges for the game. This game is honestly for older fans of Dr. Seuss and/or those who are willing to put a lot of time and effort into the game.
The way the game works is you go around completing various mini games to try and earn stars in each game. One of the mini games is a classic pong game. Another is a game where the cat balances on a ball and catches stuff that falls. There is a game where you pick up stuff in the house and another where you fly a kite through the house. There is another game where you guide "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" home and another where you catch them. So there are six games in total.
The games aren't easy at all. No, it's more like the games should be easier then they are but you know that some of the times when you're supposed to succeed at some something and you don't. For example, in the pong game there were times when I thought my paddle should have hit and it didn't. The timing for picking up in the cleaning game has to be just right. There are times that the kite went right through objects instead of knocking them down because it caught on the edge. Same with the catching game, you have to be right on with it.
Then there are the two games with "Thing 1" and "Thing 2". Catching them is a pain and jumping across them in the side scroll game is problematic as you can't see all the time where your jumping. This isn't to say the mini games aren't fun, but if you're going to play the game you're going to want to take a lot of time. The graphics and sound aren't bad either for the game, its just going to take quite a bit of time to beat if you want to play.
