Iron Fist Game Does Not Kick... Punch Butt Mimerio
Today's review will be on Tekken Advance, which is a Game Boy Advance game set in the Tekken universe between the games of Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. I can tell this because some of the character portraits match those used in Tekken Tag Tournament, and the fact that no new characters from Tekken Tag Tournament or Tekken 4 appear in the game.
To start with I'd like to mention the fact that this game is non-canonical, this means there is very little, if anything to do with the story of Tekken, but rather plays off like a side story to the franchise more than anything.
So, onto the review, we dive straight into the Graphics section, as you'd expect from a Game Boy Advance game, the graphics are made up of pixels, and the game is very 2D compared to its console counterparts. However unlike most games of this era, it has very distinctive shades used in the pixels as opposed to just being red or blue, it actually colours it differently with oranges and reds to balance out the otherwise 2D graphics.
Sound is by far the best part of the game, it retains music and voices from the console game and uses them both well to the game's advantage. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is because I felt some sounds were overused. For example the kicking sound is very repetitive unlike the punching one. I also noticed some slightly remixed music tracks which was a nice feature.
Addictiveness (On what planet is that a word? Seriously.) It is quite an addictive game with at least 11 characters to try out all with unique move sets and abilities. These moves also range in different power as well as executions. The reason I gave this an 8 is because despite clearing the game, you don't get any reward for it, whereas in console versions you get rewarded with a mini movie featuring the character you cleared the game with.
Story is minimal to say the very least as judging by the Tekken 3 universe the game is set in, I could guess that the story is pretty much the same as the console version. So this is where the game lacks along with Depth which both scored 4's in my eyes.
Difficulty should have a variable rating as you are able to change the difficulty of the game in the Options menu, or if you are a professional Tekken player, you can beat the game with relative ease.
Overall, not a bad game, but not a good game story-wise, I recommend sticking to the original console versions if you want a true experience with the Tekken Franchise. I also feel it fails in the number of characters it has to offer, as it does not have my favourite character in the game, but hey, you can't win them all I guess.

Tekken Advance jts9404
Tekken Advance is not really a great fighting game and here is why.
Graphics- Ok even though it is a Game Boy Advance game I have seen better graphics for the Game Boy Advance ( Golden Sun Anyone), However the backgrounds were quite different because lets face it for every fight there was a different background but other then that my final rating for tekken advance is a 5.
Sound- There was really no soundtrack to the game and the music was the same throughout the game and as for the characters sound it was also the same for the rest of the characters. There was no real gba game that was like Tekken Advance, To tell you the truth I haven't played all the gba games so I don't know so there might be one similar to it.
Addictiveness- There is very little chance that I will play this again. The only way I will play this again is with a friend, I just really did not have a lot of fun with this game. I would rather be playing Alter Beast again then play Tekken Advance again by myself.
Story- There was no story in Tekken Advance it was just fighting in a tournament.
Depth- Ok first off let me say this game only lasted 18 mins, yea you heard me it lasted 18 mins. It isn't even a hour long. This game is extremely short. What the game offers you is the arcade mode which is the main game, there was vs mode which is basically 2 player mode where you and a friend can fight it out, there was a tournament mode where you guessed it you fight in a tournament it is basically arcade mode where you only get one try and then there is practice mode where you just practice combos on really dumb ai. There really wasn't much to offer in the game.
Difficulty- This fighting game was really easy which is probably why it lasted only lasted 18 mins. The hardest person to fight was the final boss in the tournament which was that old guy hienkachi or however you spell his name. I literally dominated every single fighter in the tournament. The AI provided little or no challenge what so ever.
Overall- Overall this wasn't a great fighting game, There was some mediocre graphics, very little sound, not very addictive, very little depth and stuff to do in the game and it provided little or no challenge in the game. It just really wasn't all that fun to play.

A basically ok port of Tekken 3 DragonSlayer22
What? A double review day?
Yes, I just found this game on the website and want to share my experience with it. To start I will talk about how this game is.
Graphics: 7 The sprites are ripped directly off Tekken 3. There are no 3.D. models in this game at all, the backgrounds at least look okay to say the least, but the sprite's movements are not clunky and look pretty good to be honest.
Sound: 5 The sound could have been better. The sound is made up of a bunch of pixelated noise, so instead of getting a punch or kick sound, you get a punch or kick sound, with a mess of pixel sounds after. The soundtrack is okay but other than that I like playing with the sound off.
Addictiveness: 5 The game is mediocre and clunky to play with only so many buttons to play with and I would only usually play it if I couldn't find Tekken 6 on the PSP.
Story: 2 The characters have no backstories and you just fight for no reason. That's it. No prologues, no endings, just that you get THROWN right into the game! Like that!
Depth: 4 The game has only a couple of game modes, that are JUST BASED OFF ARCADE MODE and just that. You have survival, tag team, and multiplayer with another Game Boy Advance, which is pretty cool, but that's the only reason why it isn't getting a 2.
Difficulty: 5 You only have two buttons to punch and kick, while you have one button to grab, if you spam the buttons fast enough, you will win, no matter what.
OVERALL: 7.1 The game is a strange port of Tekken 3, even though it tries not to be. It's strange. Why couldn't they use 3.D. models instead? It would have been better. So, if you find this game in a store, the most that you should ever pay is $5 no matter what. Maybe $10 but other than that, no more.

Great port of tekken 3 well for a handheld at least SuperCrash64
Ah tekken 3 a
classic fighting game released in 1997,and it's still my favorite
tekken game of the series.I mean sure graphically and sound effect wise
the newer tekken games are better, but Tekken 3 and the older games have
rather a more unique style to the tracks of it. only thing that kind of
bites about tekken 3 was you couldn't take it on the go back then, and
the psp didn't exactly get tekken 3 as it got the newer games. So Namco
and the Nintendo gameboy advance came up with the answer and that this
big bad boy tekken advanced for the game boy advance. finally a solution
to your troubles wanting to play some tekken 3 while on your break at
work or just lay in bed. well first of all this game is not just like
tekken 3 its also like tekken tag tournament,as if Namco took both of
their classics and made them into one game. anyways with enough said
lets start off the review.
Graphics.to be fair its not as great
tekken 3 or other tekken games at all, because the actual graphics of the
game is rather seem like a squished out model of tekken 3 features and
tekken tag tournament sprites. Sprites: there is a total of 8 fighters
that being.Ling Xiaoyu,Yoshimitsu,Forest
law,Gun Jack, Hwoarang,Jin Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams,King and
Heihachi Mishima who is only playable by being unlocked in the
game.again as I said they really look small and missing quite some
details, but the characters are really still pretty nice looking at least
there represented fairly well.some people say ugh the sprites look bad
compared to tekken 3/tagtournament that may be true in that
statement, but compared to other games on the gba they look pretty good
and represented greatly compared to their counter parts. animation the
animation Is greatly close as all fighters have most of their standard
fighting pose's and move sets without any parts missing making it feel
not choppy or not complete. Stages: pretty well represented because of
how well they look compared to their tekken 3 counterparts. however some
stages got recolored to fit on the cartridge Hwoarang's stage in the
game is an example as it's just a recolor of Forest laws stage. but
it's still understandable. Graphics rating 8 out of 10
Sound:
The number of sound effects in this game is equally good as tekken 3 and
tekken tag tournament. as most of your announcer sound effects punching
bashing kicking and combo sounds along with voice samples are nearly
perfect and clear. Soundtrack almost the same thing as the arranged and
arcade version of the token 3 soundtrack. Well the character select
theme is based on the ps1 version of tekken 3. most other songs or
tracks are rather based on the original arcade soundtrack they still
sound amazing and great here. Although some tracks like Hwoarangs stage
got switched with another theme same with Paul Phoenix. Sound rating 10
out of 10 although some songs got alerted most of the stuff in sound
compartment is very accurate and well done.
Addictiveness and
replayblity the tekken franchise or series was fun and popular because you controlled each character in a 3d
. the entire tekken franchise or series as you may call it
was controlling a lot of characters in a 3d polygon base. and figure out a bunch of combos and powerful moves that
always sometimes gave you advantages over each character but it depends
who is against who because some characters work better then others in
the franchise. In tekken advance its nearly the same although it has a
side step feature. the game is still fun. addictiveness rating 8 for
this port.
Story: leaving it blank because I didn't find no story at all.
Depth.
The gameboy advanced version of tekken 3 offers so many features some
that wasn't even in the ps1 port of the game. Here is a list of the
modes and their descriptions.Tag mode you basically go through arcade
mode like in tekken tag tournament. So you pick 3 characters 1 that will
be the first guy fighting and 2 other fighters to come in for a
tag.Practice mode: basically just a place where you select a character. 1
for the character you wanna practice and master special moves and
combos with. 2nd for the computer/training dummy. this mode comes very
handy if you are new to the game or franchise.Survival another mode
where you go 1 on 1 with characters but this time you have to do it on 1
life bar. each little bit of damage will get healed after you win each
fight. mutilplayer works only with the cable or wireless adapter that
you can get with a gba. note this will only work for an actual gba
system. The game has some good amount of features and stuff. Depth
rating 9 out of 10
Difficulty: the game is not that hard at all you have some difficulty
options. but in general I just don't have all that much trouble with the
ai. but that's because I've played harder fighters. Difficulty rating 5
controls work just fine here
Overall this port of tekken 3 is great very fun easy to play overall rating 9.7

Tekken Advanced Review mgharper94
Hey everybody to another one of my reviews, today I will be reviewing Tekken Advanced for the GBA. Now I played this game several times and I must say that I like it,but let's get to the review shall we? First off the graphics aren't bad at all it's a good fighting GBA game that used sprites instead of the normal 3D polygons and it's a really good adaptation. The sound in this game is awesome, it sounds like you're playing the tekken 3 PS1 or something and if that's not enough to prove what I'm saying, look at my video of this game. The addictiveness of it is ok, I found myself coming back to it for a while when I first started playing it. There really was no story to go around except reach Hehachi Mishima and become the champion of the Iron Fist Tournament. The depth of the game is ok it does have some other modes besides single player and multiplayer (VS.) but not so much in extra content. The difficulty is the same in other fighting games, it's easy at first then you'll find yourself having a hard time with the people later on in the game. In conclusion, this game is really good with nostalgia factors with Tekken 3 with your favorite characters such as, Forest Law, or Hworang, and is really fast paced. That concludes this game with a rating of a 9.5 with good graphics and sound plus some fast paced action with some of your favorite Tekken fighters from Tekken 3 so, go on and reign champion of The King of Iron Fist!-mgharper94

Tekken Advance Game Review DeadlyFart
The game Tekken Advance is quite known for its unique and cool game play . I think every one or many of the peoples here already knows Tekken , either you played it in an Arcade or in your Play Stations / PSP . I an not surprised to see Tekken in the Game Boy Advance console . The game of Tekken is all about fighting each other with close combat . 90 % of the players use their fist / feet to attack , the only one who is not using its fist is Yoshimitsu ( I think yoshi is a cheater because he is using a sword ) . Tekken Advance is fighting based game which was released by Namco for the Game Boy Advance console . It is not canonical to the Tekken story line , but it follows some of the events in Tekken 3 , and it uses the sprites for the Tekken Tag Tournament .Controls :A = Select / PunchB = Cancel / KickL = Change Player ( Tag Team Mode )R = Throws / GrabsStart = Pause GameSelect = N / AFeatures :Ten ( 10 ) characters , one is unlockableCan Play either Vs. Mode , Tag Team Mode , and Arcade ModeGame plays on Game Boy AdvanceCharacters :1. Ling Xiaoyu2. Yoshimitsu3. Nina Williams4. Forest Law5. Gun Jack6. Hwoarang7. Paul Phoenix8. King9. Jin Kazama10 .Heihachi Mishima (unlockable)Even with simplified controls , Tekken Advance still is a great game for me . You can play with any player you choose . You can choose any thing that you are comfortable using . You can beat the game easily is you already know and master the techniques of the player you choose . Each 10 characters / players have their own different fighting styles , techniques , combos , and many more that you can master easily . Tekken is really based on close combat fighting no like the other games like Tekken 4 + ( With Devil Jin' Laser ) , the fire ball technique of street riders . If you play on team tag battle mode you can't use your team mates to help you , this mode is really just for substituting weaker players to a stronger players as their advantage .7 / 10 Graphics : The graphics are kinda blocky and I can still see some pixels . The feet of the players are straight which is not good . But other than that , its still good and fun to play . ( 2 dimension graphics ) 7 / 10 Sounds : The sounds are awesome in this game , some of the special effects are awesome too.8 / 10 Addictiveness : N / A Story : I think the game doesn't have any story , it is just like battling other players and that's about it .3 / 10 Depth : The game didn't took long to finish in Arcade mode , I finished it like around 3 - 4 minutes . And you can also do that too.4 / 10 Difficulty : The game isn't difficult , just master the combos of each player and you will do great .8 / 10 Overall : Overall , the tekken advance is a pretty great game for me , though it is much more fun if you have a large options for the characters . Other than that , this is a really good game , I highly recommend you all to play this game . It is really fun . Enjoy playing your Tekken Advance online for free.
