Super Monaco GP review for game gearSuper Monaco GP review for Sega game gear!
Hello guys and gals, Its eggmanfat120
here again for a review on yet another
Sega game gear game! Get ready for this
one, because its gonna be a bumpy road
for super Monaco GP today! Strap on
your seat belts, and lets start the show!
(Ahem, not really a show, you know
what I mean...)
Anyways, before I start... I just want
to tell you that I bought this game yesterday
for my Sega game gear! My game gear
collection is slowly rising! Oh, and why did
vizzed put the rarity 6/10? It should be 1/10!
Difficulty: 8
--------------------------------------------
I'm sure if you played super Monaco GP,
You know what I'm going to say. This game
is surprisingly hard, It may not look hard when
you first start off the game, but at the very
first twist and turn, you'd see what I mean.
It is possible to turn at the corners without
crashing into a post, But it is hard unless
you know what your doing. There are other
gears that you can change before starting
a race, but it may make the race harder,
the steering worse or it may change your
speed! I recommend NOT changing
those settings. There is no easy,
medium or hard mode that you can
choose from, just grand Prix, that
seems hard inuf already.
Depth: 4
--------------------------------------
There isn't allot to super Monaco GP,
the main menu has grand Prix, free run
and versus. Grand Prix is the tournament
mode that you compete in a number of
tracks, and hopefully place in 3rd or higher
as a final result. Free run is just a mode
witch you can use is your feeling bored
or just wanna do a quick match! And, versus
is s mode to compete with your friends
2 player using a game gear link cable!
(Although, I'm never gonna try versus,
because there will never be someone
I know that also has a game gear.)
story: NONE
------------------------------------------
Why do I even bother putting this
Section here? I don't know. Of course
there's no story, Its a racing game! I mean,
I'm sure there's a story in some racing
games, but none that I know!
Addictiveness: 5
-------------------------------------------
This isn't a game I'm gonna play non stop.
Its not very addictive in many ways,
such as the controls being so frustrating
and the CPU being so good! There isn't
much else to say, really. Is this a good game?
Meh, its not horrible. Is this a addictive
game? Not really.
Sound: 5
------------------------------------------
The sound could have done better. If
You compare Monaco GP music to tails
adventure music (A game I recently reviewed)
You would see a big difference. To be exact,
there isn't much music in this game, the menu
and the course screen and maybe one other
part is the only moments that have music.
So, overall... The music that WAS in the
game wasn't so good.
Graphics: 8
--------------------------------------------
The graphics are pretty good, considering
the systems limitations, but road rash does
max it out even more. It can display many
sprites at a time without lagging the game,
And I have heard that road rash lags pretty
badly at some points. There isn't really much
more to say.
Overall:6.6
---------------------------------------------
Okay, I don't highly recommend playing this game,
but it isn't so bad, I'm not the avgn, He'd over
exaggerate. Anyways, thanks for taking
your precious time of doing nothing on the
web to read my review of super Monaco GP,
Hope you enjoyed, and I look forward to
seeing you soon!
