Super Mario Rainbow Road Plus Review Pacman+Mariofan
Hello, everyone! This is my review of Super Mario Rainbow Road Plus. This game features 60 stars. The original version of this game, which you all should know or should just be able to guess the title (it just doesn't have the word plus in it) had 54 stars, but this version has 6 extra stars that I can't tell you about why they're there or it would probably count as a spoiler. This game also includes a new camera with the Mario perspective as the default. However, the camera jumps as you jump which is really weird.
Graphics: 8
Lots of the graphics are new, including Mario (he got shaded a little darker). The enemies, coins, and stars are still looking the same as usual. The star door texture got changed to look like a grand star from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I really can't say anything else, so... moving on!
Sound: 8
Most of the music in this game is new as well. The only themes that got re-used were the Jolly Roger Bay theme, the Bowser course theme, and the metal cap theme.
Addictiveness: 7
This game has only half the amount of stars that the original Super Mario 64 has and it only has 7 main courses. This game is really easy compared to other hacks. It depends on who you are how addicting this game is. I find this game to be a little addicting. Some people might be really addicted to this, some may beat the game once and decide they've had enough and move on to another game.
Story: 4
Same old story: The princess has been kidnapped by Bowser and Mario must rescue her. The story didn't change one bit.
Depth: 7
This game doesn't exactly have that much to do, but depending on your Super Mario 64 skills it may take you a long time to beat or it might only take you a day. It didn't take long at all for me to beat this game.
Difficulty: 7
I think this game should be easy for you if you're really good at Super Mario 64. But, once again, it depends on your skill.
Overall: 8
I think this game is a lot of fun and there may be a few challenging tasks in this game, such as getting to the cap courses, but other than that, this game is super easy. If you like Super Mario 64, you should try this game out if you haven't already. EDIT: why was this review rated a 1/5? Huh? Why?
