Are you tired of playing Super Mario Kart? Do you want a different experience? Totally new gameplay? Well,i have a game for you...it's called Sonic Drift 2. This is a game about Sonic and co. competing in car races(gasp!) and trying to win the chaos cup! Well,it seems like a simple enough story...actually,this game has no story. Only gameplay. So let's get to it,shall we?
You accelerate by pressing A,with B you can brake,and you can use the directional buttons up and down to use your items. This is just like Mario Kart,but it quite isn't...you see,this game has a different approach to the racing genre. First,the curves come out of nowhere,so you have to memorize the tracks. Then,you have to skillfully pass through opponents,taking care not to get hit by items. The game is fairly easy,but on the last races,it can get hectic. There is also multiplayer,but it doesn't adds too much to the fun.
This game has some pretty advanced graphics though. But the soundtrack is the same good old Sonic tunes. I can't say much about this game,except that it is a racing game a little different from Mario Kart. This review won't help you much;you will have to play the game to get an idea of what this game is. It is a good game while it lasts. Try it today if you want another racing game for your game collection.
