Taking our bikes around the world classgame
So the third and final entry in the Road Rash for Genesis trilogy has alot of major differences and I might as well talk about them
Gameplay and Story: This is the same basic concept as the previous two entries except this time it's around the world so there's no real story heck in the manual for this game we don't even get any back stories for any of the other rashers we meet along the way, it's like we can pinpoint that this is where they stopped caring because that's how it is for the games that come after this one on different platforms, I won't even bring up what they did in the Game Boy Advance game
Graphics: So I'm not going to lie I think the graphics in this game have taken a bit of a downgrade here it doesn't look good in the racing mode however (they kind of recycle the cut scenes from Road Rash 2 but with a different background) in the cut scenes it's different and when the other racers are trash talking you or praising you it's kind of better than what we see in Road Rash 2 (the second game makes it look like that Connie Britton could play Natasha because that's the vibe I got from her) heck I actually like how Natasha looks in this game than in the previous two entries (she has two images here and it seems that you only see the one with her and the chain if you either hit her or you are in a place lower than 4th or something yeah one of the things I hate about the entries after the first one is that you have to be in 3rd place or better to advance)
Soundtrack: Like in the previous entry every location has it's own background music that would fit nicely with each country (the United Kingdom soundtrack actually has a sample of Oh Britannia in it)
Addictive: Like the other entries I keep coming back to this one but I wish this was also an entry I owned
Depth:: Like the previous two entries this game have 5 levels and then after you qualify in all of them...you stay stuck at level 5. Also this game does something I wish the previous entry did switch out locations, a new location gets added or
replaces a local as you go on, in level 2 Australia is added and then Japan is added. Also this game fixes one of the issues I had with previous entries this time we get to keep our weapon as we move on and we get more of a variety this time, a crowbar, a nun-chuck and a cattle prod is added (but I have yet to acquire that one) Also here we have the opportunity to upgrade our bikes rather than blow money on a new one
Difficulty: This is still a challenging game, but they do something here that I don't think we get to do again, like if we're out of money we have the opportunity to snitch on other rashers or repossess other rashers bikes otherwise they repossess ours....I got to the snitch point at one point but even I couldn't knock Bolo down because I think I had a bike that was too fast by then
Post-review follow up: I want a remake of this franchise, bring back everyone who was in the first three games (yeah you too Helldog) then it would be worth me blowing money on a Nintendo Switch. It's just a shame that after this game the quality really went down...at least in my opinion, I mean even Natasha made it into the Nintendo 64 game even though we don't see her at all we don't really get scenes of other rashers in that one. If Alex Kidd and Streets of Rage can make a comeback then I want Road Rash back!
And that's it for my reviews for this Tour de Vizzed (I would do one tomorrow if I didn't have to go to work) when the next tour starts this summer I will kick it off with You Don't know jack Volume 2 (I'll keep my eye open for Sports, the Ride, Lost Gold and Offline even though I'm useless at sports trivia but I might just get it for the customized openings)

This game (for its time) was a pretty decent racing game. It's the third game in the Sega Genesis Road Rash series, and it's reminiscent of Namco's Pole Position and Sega's Out Run. However, the game does have a handful of flaws.
The controls are flimsy and tough to handle. There's a slight delay whenever you turn, and it's pretty tough to tell if there'll be an oncoming car just waiting for you over the hill. The framerate isn't the best either, which makes it harder to play the game.
Problems aside, though, it's a pretty good game. I'd recommend it to anyone who's been playing racing games and thinking, "Hey, this game would be loads more fun if I could attack the other racers."
