A Ridiculous game   Tyrian-Vayu
The game's controls are very hard to learn and understand. Until you learn how to defend yourself and do anything in general aside from selecting a character, the game is a nightmare. I was very confused on how to even attack. This game would've benefited from the addition of a tutorial system. Without a tutorial, new players trying out this game they see here on Vizzed that had perked their interest would not be able to enjoy what is enjoyable in this game, which as of this moment has been none. Tutorials would help anyone curious about what this unofficial Pokémon game is about instead of being thrown into a battle where the new player knows nothing about the game. The AI easily wins against the new player without proper understanding of the controls, leading to frustration and irritation. I rate the difficulty of the game as an 8.
Some of the depictions of the Pokémon used in this game are fairly inaccurate. While their names are abbreviations of their original Japanese counterparts, the aesthetic look of the Pokémon aren't very pleasing. For example, the Pokémon Jolteon should not have red eyes. The colors of some Pokémon are slightly inaccurate as well. The game's graphics as a whole is not too bad. There aren't very many animations that can be seen without understanding the controls. The colors and the environments aren't bad. There are games on the SNES that have worse colored graphics than this game. I rate the graphics of the game as a 5.
Aside from the graphics of the game, the sound is terrible! Along with the bad sounds, the music is far worse. I noticed that a few of the songs in the game are not original pieces of music, but ripped versions of songs from other games but with some instrument changes. For example, the password theme and one of the stage themes from the game "Mega Man X3" can be heard in the game. If you don't recognize any of the ripped songs, you could say that the soundtrack isn't terrible. I am a big fan of the Mega Man X series and felt very unnerved upon hearing a changed version of my favorite stage theme from Mega Man X3 in a Pokémon fighting game. I rate the sound in this game as 2.
It's pretty hard to enjoy this game if you can't get very far with the hard controls. With what I have seen and experienced, there is not much in the game. I myself am not going to return to this game. This game has irked me with its ripped soundtrack and inaccuracy to Pokémon logic. The Pokémon in this game do not have the same moves that their original counterparts do. For example, the Pokémon Jigglypuff can use a move similar to "string shot" in this game while it is impossible for Jigglypuff to learn "string shot" in the actual games. I rate the depth and addictiveness of this game both as 1.
I would not suggest this game to anyone ever, especially to anyone that has not seen the original Pokémon games before. Having them see this could possibly give them a very bad first impression of Pokémon. If I wanted to introduce someone to Pokémon, I would introduce them with Pokémon Gold/Silver or Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire.

It's actually not that bad once you learn how to play. and the names are actually abbreviations on the japanese names.
