Let's review Derpizard Blackfoxy14
Now, let's play Derpizard. By the title alone pretty sum, it is pretty must a prank...at least think so with 'derp' in it. The game pretty must
replace every single sprite, human, or Pokemon. Into Charizard, or Derpizard the game calls them. Everything else is completely the same. ?
Graphics: I have to rate this low. For one, even though I really like this old style 'Derpizard' sprite style, however, since all the unique sprites are remove, and just
replace this one. The maps are the same, every store and center the same, you get the idea. So I have to get an 6. It is a nice chance if you want something new sprite wise. But overall not too must different.
Sound: The sound is pretty must is the same. Not any chances, none good or bad. So it is a even 5.
Addictiveness: why I rate this pretty must high? is it cause of Pokemon? Yes, but not only reasons. Every Pokemon is pretty must the same as before. Just different sprite. I also figure no Pokemon evolves either. (haven't gotten to a point a Pokemon evolve yet. but I figure if they do they be the same, or they don't at all.) So, Pokemon, like for example, Wrumple. It is the still the same type it was, it still has the same moves it gets and level up. Just different sprite. ?So image an Pokemon that can be any type, and learn any moves? You won't be able to tell what type it is until you caught it, or wait to see it's moves, and so on. ?It is amusing to have 'Derpizard' use string-shot....need i say more. The fact you can have a full party of same Pokemon, all different types, all different moves, I don't know about the rest of you. But that aspect is kinda fun.
Story: it's pretty must the same. nothing good, nothing bad.
Difficulty: this go right hand-to-hand with I said every single type, and you can't tell from one to the other. You'll have hard time finding what type the enemy trainer has until trail and error. It makes the game completely more difficult, with the acceptation of badges, you will have yourself press hard on just battling wild Pokemon, and trainer alike. It would be an 10, but it is before the time of gen 4, the A.I. is still not too bright.
Depth: It is basically the same, maybe harder. But nothing chance for better or for worst. But....I have to rate this little lower, the fact it is a game more you be wanting to play and beat once. Not something you really want to go back and play again. More likely to play ruby again, or another rom hack that twist things up like this one did.
Overall beta, it is a nice twist if ya just want more challenge, and okay of the element of surprise on the sprite chance. I say it be fun if ya okay with it. I think you might want to try Nuzlock run of it. However, there's nothing else there that is very special to it. It might get better on the later betas, for now. It has an 6.5.
