Bit glitched and too short AdorableCookie
There are severe glitches in the game with the tiles, hence why the rate for graphics is so low. There are places you're not supposed to be able to step on that you can step on and others that you're supposed to step on, but can't. Also, the first battle with the rival is a silly level of 45, making you have no desire to battle him and simply move on. In addition to this, the games tiles glitch quickly after the first gym, stopping you from moving forward. Maybe you are supposed to defeat the rival first, but with a level as high as 45 you just don't want to bother.
That being said, it is a nice concept for a game. It's just glitches as if the game was never tested. If it was there seems to be no desire to fix glitches. Although there is one problem with it. Given the starter Pokémon, you tend to faint during your first trip to New York City, the first city. By the time I could buy Pokémon I had only 791 or so cash left to spend on Pokéballs. This made me forced to only get Charmander and an Eevee. This is rather frustrating since the route where the rival is located has all starter Pokémon, Pikachu and Eevee.
If the glitches were fixed, the rival levels were changed and the problem with not being able to move forward were edited it would be worth playing, but as of now it isn't.
