This game's a lot like the original, but harder, but it's a fair kind of hard . . . Usually. There are a lot of
replacements, but mostly in the game play side. Battle chips are
replaced with other ones like M-Cannon that works more like the Giga Cannon PA. Also you have dark chips, but they don't have any side effects. You're charge attack can blind enemies, Spout Cross's charge attack is aqua needle, and dust cross is crack shot. Though since enemies move so fast crosses are less useful. Some enemies have been
replaced and there are more bosses, like Star Force Megaman. Overall, the battles are easier for you because you have battle chips and harder because bosses got buffed up (Sometimes in rather cheap ways.
Graphics (7): It's just like Megaman Battle Network 6, however, there are several animation errors that hold this back.
Addictiveness (7): It's a challenging game, and that's why you'll be playing it; for bragging rights and the chance to prove yourself a master at the game. It's a different kind of addicting compared to the original more like why people play the old hard NES games.
Story (3): This game has almost no original story, it does
replace text, but through copy paste so it effects other pieces of text. If you want story, play the original.
Depth (9): This is a big game, a bit bigger I think than the original with the new bosses you have to fight.
Difficulty (10): This is a very hard game, the intro shows that well as the tutorial bosses are end game enemies. Also the bosses have more health and interesting features. For example, Spoutman can give you HP bugs, all of Diveman's attacks except his tidal wave can stun you (And that's a little cheap because you can't dodge his missiles, essentially stun locking you). The link Navi Fights SP versions all have 2 viruses on their sides. Some fights will have Dark Megaman on your side. Several of the new bosses can easily wreck you if you're not careful. Some of the new bosses are Dark Megaman, Timaeus (AKA slash man with a new sprite), Dust Cross Beast-Out Megaman (For some reason), 3 random Navi's at once (Like Tomahawk Man, Erase Man and Blast Man at the same time). Saving in this game is a must.
Overall (8): This game's not perfect, there are several bugs and problems, most notably the syncro battle chips used while you're in a navi cross will crash the game. The reason this game gets such a high overall is because yes, I think it's a good game because of the difficulty; sure it's hard, it's got problems, and can be a bit cheap but this game will push you to become a great Megaman player as you try to see how far you can make it into the game.
