Back in my elementary days, a friend introduced me to a game I never knew even existed. A style of game that is a whisper in a memory or butt end of a joke. There are a lot of under rated games out there, but Bandit Kings of Ancient China takes the cake. A lost story of evil tyranny, war and peace. A fight for popularity to become China's Champion. Common folk and Noblemen alike joining the fight against the evil Gao Qiu plotting with the northern occupancy to usurp the Emperor's throne. All walks of life that you will find have their place in the game. All eager to join the fight for China. With or Without you and sometimes even against you. Innkeepers, Fishermen, Outlaws, Politicians, Entertainers, Farmers, Officers, Priests, Scholars, and Heroes, to name a few. Though the platform of strategic warfare and simulated state economics my seem out of your league or not your style. I dare you to beat it on its easiest level. It Has everything. Building Dams for crops and protection from natural disaster. Hunting for food and fur for citizens and trade. Building structures for defense and economic stability. Skilled craftsmen making weaponry and naval transports. Morality. Magic. Fire. Espionage. Alliances and Betrayals.Loyalty  Brotherhood of men. Wild Animals Rampaging the Streets!!! Its Amazing!!! But extremely CHALLENGING. I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR YEARS AND DARE NOT PLAY ABOVE DIFFICULTY LEVEL 2. Check it out, but give it chance. i promise it will defeat you quickly. If the tyrant wont, your own people will for failing. Quite frankly the best game I've ever played in my 30 years as a gamer.
