Virtua Fighter Meets Anime!   MitsuriZX
Virtua Fighter Animation is a fighting game, but i guess it's more like a story-telling game than a fighting game. You see, this game is based on the movie "Virtua Fighter Animation",and as such, attacks and scenes are ported directly from the movie. So,basically, you can't use the same moves you use on the original Virtua Fighter. But even so,it's nice to be able to refresh your mind and learn those new moves. All while watching the awesome game cut-scenes that tell the story of the movie.
The game is fairly short, there is not much you can do after you finish it. There is one secret character called Dural, and the game isn't exactly as deep as Virtua Fighter 2 Genesis. It is just your regular fighting game for play anywhere. You can still win by ring-out,and you can win by time-out too.
The game is fairly easy, with Dural and Wolf being the hardest opponents you will ever face. There is an story mode, and a versus mode. There is no multiplayer though, which is a total fail. Every fighting game should have a multiplayer mode. In the case of Street Fighter Alpha for the GBC,it's forgivable since the game is incredibly good even on single-player,but this game doesn't has anything special. No fireballs,no ultra combos...it seems like this game was just made for the sake of making a new game.
I don't recommend it,but feel free to go ahead and play it if you want to. You would be probably better with the "Real" Virtua Fighter games. Try the Genesis/Mega Drive one,it is much better than this unoriginal game.
