Pokemon Vherestorm Version Rewiev RocketLeader
First of all, I've no idea what Vherestorm stands for but I guess it might have something to do with Mario. Why I come up with this you ask? Because I could not think of a proper introduction.
So let's get right into it:
Graphics & Sound: 7
Not much was changed here, they're almost both the same as in Emerald.
Personally, Emerald's graphics aren't as good as Firered's but animated sprites and little things like the final battle of the 3 legendaries are not to be found in Firered.
Addictiveness: 7
Pokemon is quite addicting(or maybe I'm just a mad human being) and Emerald has at least a decent story and more content than Saphire and Ruby for example do. I wish the creator would have changed more to make this hack stand out more of the flood of hacks that you can find on Vizzed and in the Internet.
Story: 7
I already mentioned above that Emerald was one of the first Pokemon games that had something like a (good) story. But since I've played it a dozen times the creator could have tried to improve or change the story completely.
Depth: 8
Emerald sure had depth, unlike most of the previous Pokemon games. The only thing that annoyed me that it was so hard then to get all the Pokemon you wanted. Good thing that the creator improved the original game. One of the main arguments for a hack is (always, at least for me) a higher variety of Pokemon and the more to catch the better(or something like that...)
Difficulty: 8
Another thing that I like about hacks of Pokemon games is the fact that in most games you'll rather find some kind of challenge here than in the original games as sometimes I feel I'm rather too da** good or the games were made for 6 years old children who'll throw their precious Masterball at the first legendary Pokemon they see. Or maybe both of these things.
When I read first about Overpowered Pokemon I didn't like the idea. But the creator chose some I wouldn't and some of the choices are quite interesting like Beedrill for example, not only the already super strong Pokemon like Dragon types.
If you read thus far you'll probably understand my rating.
Good luck in your future endeavours(to quote a man on live TV that I liked to hate but that's a nice quote).
